Fountain pens and magic
I love fountain pens so much especially from a magic perspective bc it's so easy to change to whatever color ink you want (color correspondences) and you can consecrate pens for specific things and types of workings idk to me fountain pens have spirits in the way some people say tarot decks have spirits imo they all have different essences and personalities.
Geomancy actually makes a lot of sense. What little I know of astrology is helping as well.
Every time I read my cards, I am shocked that they give me a coherent logical answer. It's almost like they are a tool that can be used to reveal things and actually have messages for you.
It's totally cool that some people don't believe (I probably don't have their beliefs and I'm totally at peace with that). But so many cards have such wildly different meanings that it's like, how am I supposed to read the message I want from this if it's not telling me this?
I have total respect for people who don't/can't/won't use tarot in their personal craft, but I am personally so grateful I have access to my cards.
I have refreshed my Altar, and I feel much cleaner.
So, today the family went to see a good friend of theirs (maybe I should start saying "ours"?) who is a Master Gardener. That wasn't why we went, but I took my Basil plant to asl her questions about it.
She told me to split the two of them up (two were in one pot) because one was weak [Picture: weak on the left, strong on the right] and the roots were not getting enough water because the soil on the sides were soaking up everything. Neither plant was getting enoigh water, and she could tell I had been watering it. So she poked holes and gave me some interesting slow-degrading fetilizer for the roots.
Once I got home, I separated and repotted them and added grounded up eggshells to the soil + the fertilizer. Let's just hope the weaker one survives. I usually kill plants because I'm not good with them, but I'm doing my best! Oh, and she also had me prune the stronger one for it to grow better so now guess who has some Basil hanging around to dry out? Also, my fingernails are so dirty from soil and I feel GREAT!! I LOVE gardening with herbs!
sometimes ya just gotta pray to the goddesses of fertility to protect your puppy from getting pregnant during her first heat
