I'm at work all day (4:45am till like fucking 7:30pm which in most industries would be considered FUCKED) so any concepts you see are written in between classes me using every brain cell I have to remain sane.

WIP Drag Prop Guitar

For my drag number this week, I'm gonna recreate the David Bowie & Mick Ronson/Brian Slade & Curt Wild guitar blowjob, and I need a guitar befitting my 70s TVL-influenced persona.

Here's the first iteration, with more details to be added:

It's a nonfunctioning Rockband guitar, with mirror stickers for lighting/cracks and a Georgia O'Keeffe-inspired painting to really hammer home that this is a guitar designated for sexy purposes. Also I had to add "I will mangle your mind".

Plans: glitter, random stickers, and maybe a nail file to give it some scratches and nicks.

It’s Mother’s Day here in Aus. It’s mums first Mother’s Day without our Dad. My sister and I are taking her to pick strawberries.

Learning to celebrate life while grieving someone you love is really fucking hard. I know she’s struggling because I’m struggling.

This week has been so challenging for a number of different reasons. But I’m hoping that at least some fresh strawberries will round out the week in a healthy way.

Went to a drag king and thing show yesterday and aaah man he has his spindly roots in me (he = my dormant, unexplored drag king persona)

wait it’s official that you quit?? I know you were on leave last time? Or am I going crazy? 👀

Yeah, so in March I took an extended leave of absence from work because I had abdominal surgery and then my dad decided to DIE (still pissed) four days after.

And since being back I’ve just come to the conclusion that I don’t want to be there. I’ve been offered some job contracts now that the word is out around the local community (I’m pretty good at what I do and reputation is everything)

But I’ll be taking a few months off work to focus on my mental and physical health.
