Sometimes.... David's death doesn’t feel real. Like, my brain can't wrap itself around the fact that hes gone.

And I have to grapple with this reality over and over again.

Like yesterday, when, after 6 months, the police finally finished their report on the crash. And..... we still dont have any answers. No one knows why he crashed.

actually I am a bit conflicted

three years ago my grandfather died on this day

and my Dad just ... I may say he splintered , everything he knew was right with his parents was shattered

i fear he still is not completely put back together again

and I am afraid to call

maybe he has a good day and doesn't need to be reminded

I am silently thinking of grandpa all day ... all week actually

he is loved, still

and so is my Dad

its so embarrassing to tell someone you want them

of how you want to pull them

into your soul and intertwine

ivy on solemn rock

“love is cold if it isnt with you” and such.

doesnt admitting it first make you the fool?

doesnt submission mean youre loved less?

My scaly baby girl passed away this morning. The sweetest and cuddliest tegu there was, so sassy and full of personality. I love how she'd move her pillow and toys back after id cleaned (aka ruined) her tank. How she'd cuddle the stuffed gingerbread man as big as she was.

Im glad you got to sun bathe in the spring sunlight before you crossed the rainbow bridge to meet Tuxy and Amelia.

Bear

Sometimes you write to feel better to simply tie yourself to a tether in so many ways it feels like they will never age in soft colors and heather eventually time moves along to the end of a song and you wish you could brave any weather. Of love and loss and laughter of all those happily ever afters every moment you have cherished even if it is time to perish  with longing hope, denile and grife though feelings now aren't brief cherish the moments of the past  we say good night at last  ~dedicated to beloved pet Bear c.a. 2008-2022

I just want to ask people to please spare a moment to think about a valued employee of our family business, who was murdered last Saturday, and his family, as he’s put to rest today. Gun violence has touched my family and now my company’s small family more than once. Statistically, I can’t be alone in this, but it shouldn’t ever happen. I’m committed to doing what I can to promote strict gun control. I hope more Americans add their voice to the call for reform.
