Let me present you one of my favorite recent finds in terms of fashion designer.

I saw the work of Cunnington & Sanderson a few seasons behind at Morozzo Communication’s beautiful showroom in Paris. I was planning to shoot this brand with other models wearing the clothes but never managed to find the time and opportunity to do those editorial shootings. So, finally, when my agenda gave a green light, I borrowed some pieces and took some photos with me as the model.

I just have to show you how beautiful their clothes are !

This brand has a strong signature. They work with exquisite fabric and build interesting volume. They use a lot of draping and layering. Styling and cut are the result of extensive research with the aim to reach that perfect silhouette. 

I LOVE this brand. Their clothes are slightly edgy but they are still very easy to wear. What do you think ?

Autumn is coming soon and I love the period when the season starts to change, when the leaves start to change colour and the temperature gets cooler. It’s the best period to be stylish. The weather is not too hot so you can wear a nice woolen hat and are not sweating the whole day, and it’s still not too cold so that you don’t have to cover everything with a coat and boots. 

This autumn look is easy to wear and very parisian, don’t you agree ? Photos were taken in Square Louvois, a lovely Parisian garden with a beautiful fountain in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris.

I wear:

Shoes from Pierre Hardy (old collection). Pierre Hardy is one of my favorite shoe designers. I have had these for years and I still love them.

4 Tips To Finding Your Personal Style

So, we all can't be the flawless Beyonce or the bold and beautiful Rhianna winning fashion icon awards and such. However, we can give them both a run for their money, which is a lot of running as they are both insanely wealthy. I digress. I'm going to give you four tips to help unlock that runway goddess that is inside of you waiting to break free.

1. Utterly Confused? Find A Muse.

Find inspiration In your everyday life encounters or that celebrity you don't follow but secretly stalk in Instagram. It's up to you. Identify with someone, don't copy, though. We are after our own look, always remember to strive to set the trends. Your muse should be someone who you want to share clothes with. Do not pick someone who you admire for their edginess; that's not where we are going with this process. Stick to what you'd personally want to put on your body. Pinterest is a great place to start with this. Create a "Look" board and pin away!

2. Know Your Strengths 

Look in the mirror at yourself. In that sea of beauty you are gazing upon, locate what you think is your best asset. I know it'll be hard cause you've got so much to choose from, but humor me and pick something. Once you've found it, accentuate it. If it's your eyes, choose colors that would make your eyes pop. Your legs, shorts, skirts, and hi-low dresses can be your thing. Dressing to your body type is important as well, this assists with your strengths. Not sure how to shop for your body type? 3. Choose A Signature Piece

This can be anything. For me, it was my hair. I wore straight hair for the first time in almost six months last weekend and believe me; I wanted it to done. Initial necklaces, hats, body jewelry, rings, bracelets, the list, is endless. Get creative with it.

4. Be Comfortable

The most important tip I can give is to be sure you're comfortable. Stepping out of our comfort zone can be a good thing at times, but you want your look to compliment you and showcase you for who you are not who you're trying to be. Let your personality shine through.

If you are like me and obsessed with rooftops you will like this place: Les Ombres. It’s a restaurant with a view. The price is at the high-end but I think is worth the money. Sorry I didn’t take any photo of the dish as I didn’t take out my camera or my iphone during the meal. Yes I do try to stop looking at my phone every now and then ! Virtual friends are fun but nothing compared to the beloved people that I have in real life. So I put away my phone and gave my time and attention to my better half with whom I shared the excellent meal. It was only when we finished that I asked him to take some photos, so here there are. I was wearing a favorite beaded top from Magali Pascal. It reminds me of Bali as I bought it there in their lovely shop in Seminyak.

Si vous aimez les rooftops (les bars ou les restaurants sur le toit), vous allez aimer cet endroit : Les Ombres. C’est le restaurant du musée du Quai Branly et il a une vue imprenable sur la Tour Eiffel. Le prix est plutôt élevé mais je trouve que c’est justifié. Désolée, je n’ai pas pris de photos du repas parce que je n’ai pas sorti mon appareil photo ni mon iphone pendant le repas. Oui, j’essaie de ne pas regarder mon téléphone de temps en temps. Les amis virtuels sont sympas, mais ce n’est rien par rapport à des gens que j’aime dans la vraie vie. J’ai donc rangé mon téléphone et j’ai donné toute mon attention à ma chère moitié. C’était seulement quand on a fini, juste avant de quitter le lieu, que je lui ai demandé de prendre quelques photos pour ce blog, voici donc le résultat. Je portais un top de Magali Pascal que j’adore. Il me fait penser à Bali car je l’ai acheté là-bas dans leur jolie boutique à Seminyak.
