Okay but personal trainer Cullen, after he and Lanistair have fooled around a couple times, trying to help Lana stretch out at the gym during an actually busy time and his mind goes wandering to the last time she was stretched in that position and suddenly he's just suddenly incredibly red because he's incredibly aware of everyone working out around them and the uh... Alistair taught Lana how to fight with a sword and shield after an incident where she was suppressed by a templar who saw her use magic when she wasn't in her warden armor. Lana doesn't usually bring this up, but she became really good at it since she puts a lot into anything she studies.

In the modern!au, Lana learns how to fight hand to hand as part of her warden training, and she and Alistair spar regularly so she's pretty used to fighting people taller and larger than her (plus, her ballet training gives her an advantageous flexibility for kicks and such). And now I just. Can't get out of my head, trainer Cullen sparring with Lana when he has no idea how good she is at it, having his ass completely handed to him, and getting turned on by it.
