Fjfksksk honey that’s so terrible wtf. I would have probably lost it because I read some of the piece you linked and it is BEAUTIFUL. I think it is so important to leave hints throughout a story instead of sometimes stating some facts — this makes the reader more attentive. Second of all I’m?? Sorry that they wrote such a �� story and insulted yours like… :( Geez. You def deserved to be around better and more supportive people than that!!

It’s all good now. She graduated and I never have to deal with her again.

Just........sometimes I think about it and it still upsets me lmao. I literally emailed my teacher after the fact and explained what they were saying and she was like “yeah, I think you’re fine” so...ugh. But one of the most important things in storytelling is trusting your reader!! That’s what I’ve always been taught!! You leave some holes for them to fill in themselves!! You don’t have to explain every single freaking detail. Especially about someone being the favorite because like??

Hopefully it doesn’t come down to you being starved again. Glad to hear you have food again.

I have plenty of food! I’m just going to have to start figuring out portion sizes from now on! If I make ramen, I have to just make half of what I used to eat, and make sure I cook veggies and meat accordingly or make things that I can freeze or will keep as left overs. It’s been a long time that I have had more than just one person’s amount of food so I’m not used to it anymore!
