Making mistakes.... If you grew up like me, you were taught that if you fail or make mistakes, you may not be good enough. The school system did a pretty good job at hammering this concept down in my brain. Pass the test, or you won’t get the grade. Don’t get the grade and you must not be good enough. Make mistakes and you will stay behind. Truth is, a piece of paper and/or a grade does not determine your gifts, capabilities and potential. You are not your mistakes and your mistakes don’t make you. Mistakes, errors and adversity are all to be embraced as blessings for they carry teachings that can only help steer you in the right direction. It is simply useful feedback. Each mistake gets you closer to the goal as you now know exactly how NOT to do it. Thomas Edison made 10,000 mistakes before he discovered the incandescent light. Do you think he was sad about it? Nah.... he was ecstatic as he knew he was 10,000 attempts closer to get to one history’s greatest discoveries. Go out there and embrace adversity. Look at it in the face and laugh at it. It is this part of the journey that makes it all the more memorable .... Go create. #personaldevelopmentbooks #personaldevelopmentjourney #personaldevelopmentjunkie #personaldevelopmentquotes #personaldevelopmenttime #personaldevelopmentdaily #personaldevelopmentgoals #personaldevelopmentblogger #personaldevelopmentbook #personaldevelopmentcoaching #personaldevelopmentplan #personaldevelopmentiskey #personaldevelopmenttips #personaldevelopmentschool #personaldevelopmentblog #personaldevelopmentpodcast #personaldevelopmentseminars #personaldevelopmentcoaches #personaldevelopmentandgrowth #personaldevelopmenttrainer #personaldevelopmenttools #personaldevelopmentrocks #personaldevelopmentforwomen #personaldevelopmentspecialist #personaldevelopmenteveryday #personaldevelopmentreeading #personaldevelopmentlovers #personaldevelopmentcourses #personaldevelopmentworkshop #personaldevelopmentmentor (at Rodeo Drive) https://www.instagram.com/p/CL-H2oUDNoN/?igshid=z0rk770znx1
