I am able to be my true, authentic self. I do not need to try and please other people. I am content with the person I am and becoming. I love every part of what makes me so authentic and unique. I am confident in who i am.🕊️
Everything that weighs me down is thought created and when I drop it I give myself space to be completely free and be here😌 ✨ There are 2 worlds happening at all times - the thought created world and the real world. In the thought created world I have lots of limitations and rules but in the real world there are very few🤔 ✨ Seeing through when we’re living in the thought created world is what pierces the illusion of anxiety and frees us but seeing it requires patience and being kind to ourselves💚 ✨ In case no one told you already today you’re doing great please be proud of how far you’ve come🥰 ✨ #successminded #successfullife #entrepreneurship101 #businessquotes #bossbabe #entrepreneurtips #entrepreneurmind #motivation101 #mindsetiseverything #mindsetmatters #mindsetshift #bossbitch #motivationdaily #inspirationalwords #mindsetmastery #mindsetchange #growthmindset #besuccessful #keytosuccess #bosslady #entrepreneurspirit (at Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo) https://www.instagram.com/p/COQXLxMnf8X/?igshid=18zw9b7z6zj1g

I've gradually been learning that I don't have to be perfect. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I can fail at a single task but that doesn't make me a failure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And if I fail at a task today, it doesn't mean I won't succeed tomorrow. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In fact, I'm trying to embrace the idea of failing faster. Because I'm discovering that temporary failure is how I learn, how I get better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you a recovering perfectionist too? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #mayaangelou #mayaangelouquote #mindsetquotes #motivationalquotes #successquote #bossbabequotes #businesswisdom #marketingquotes #fridayfeels #fridaythoughts #friyay #weekendvibes #mindsetiseverything #successfulmindset #mindsetchange #changeyourthoughts #focusonthepositive #positiveselftalk #femaleentrepreneurlife #womenofinfluence #bossladystatus #theuniversehasyourback #femaleentrepreneur #womeninbusiness #changeyourlife #womensupportingwomen #girlboss #makeithappen #bossbabes #buildyourempire (at Owen Sound, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/B45oi1AJ1ED/?igshid=1ukn68grzrmax
Sometimes being productive doesn't always mean getting the most chores or activities accomplished in a day.
Being productive can mean lots of things;
It can mean facing something that upsets you.
It can mean just getting one thing done that will bring you peace of mind.
It can mean staying grounded when everything else is going off course.
All of these things are a form of productivity, some internal and others external. And both very much, productive.

Public speaking. It is easier said than done. For my project, I have a strong topic, which I love but presenting it in front of people..this is the real trial and tribulation. It is awful to say, but sometimes, anxiety prevent a lot of us (including myself) from doing things. For me, it is public speaking. So I decided to dig a little further to see what about public speaking really makes my heart race.
Dr. Theo Tsaousides provided me much help and inspiration on how to move forward despite the setbacks, that ironically, I cause for myself. Glossophobia appears when you are performing or expecting to perform an oral presentation or a speech in front of other people. According to his study, approximately 25% of the world’s population have reported that public speaking is their number one fear. This fear arises when people overestimate the stakes of communicating their ideas in front of others, viewing the speaking event as a potential threat to their credibility, image, and chance to reach an audience. I know a couple of times as I tried to prepare myself, the initial thoughts were “ What if I don’t do good? What if I speak too low? What if my topic is already known? I do not want to bore my audience. What if my anxiety causes me to stutter?” Typical questions like that will kill whatever motivation an individual has for public speaking. When that happens, it is like everything falls out of place. You can hear your heart beating as if it will explode through the ear canals, you feel the sweat popping off of you, your hands feel like spaghetti. It is just awful to say the least.
Although that read is important, I feel it is also beneficial to find out how to conquer the fear to become a pretty good if not excellent public speaker. The first four steps are essential for success. They are: learn how to put your body in a calm state, challenge your beliefs about public speaking, shift your focus from performance to communication, and prepare, prepare, prepare! Mind control, or mental game as I call it, is key to conquering the fear of public speaking. You must instill confidence in yourself, in your craft. If you are not confident, your audience will sense that vibe and you have lost their attention. I also agree with Dr. Tsaudosides second read. When you 100% calm yourself, you will be able to breathe. When you are able to breathe, you will be able to speak clearly. I say when an individual shifts his focus, it does help a lot. Instead of making your speech so serious, it is good to add a little humor or even pausing the flow of your speech to ask general questions that you are sure the audience can answer. While preparing for a speech in the past, it has helped me by practicing in front of a trusted person. I am ready to implement all of the suggestions a little further to make my speaking skills stronger. The links for the articles I discussed are below.
