That time I met Jesus. Or rather, Ted Neeley who played Jesus in the 1973 film version of Jesus Christ Superstar. And therefore become the template for how I pictured Jesus as a kid in the 70s and 80s being raised by hippie parents! Here’s another amazing human and community leader I was missing at Creating Change this year. The incredible, inspirational, trailblazing, funny, smart and just wonderful Monica Roberts. Sadly, Monica passed away this year. So even when we return in person, she will not be there. Or at least not in the physical sense, because certainly her impact and her indomitable spirit will live on to impact all of for many years to come. This was the last time I saw her.
