okay, thank you! (I'm still a bit embarrassed, but here I go ;;) I go by Sofia or Sofie, and may I have a small scenario (or headcanons depending on what you feel like) involving SDC Dio watching his fem s/o play with young Giorno, or just generally being motherly with him? I'm in kind of a soft mood tonight I guess 👉👈 If not that's okay too, it's just been on my mind a lot ahhh
There is no need to be embarrassed! In this house we simp on main
This is such a cute prompt, thank you! I hope you like it! I'm sorry I'm so late with it!
Dio watching his s/o play with Giorno
Dio has a soft smile on his face as he leaned his shoulder against the door frame with his arms crossed. He is watching his wife and their son play together, having a dramatic sword fight with sticks. You're taking cover behind furniture and rolling around the floor trying to beat each other. He can tell you're letting the boy win, but Giorno doesn't notice.
The child stabs you with his weapon and you make a big show of falling to your knees and then to the floor in defeat. Giorno is overjoyed with his victory, but in his excitement he trips and scrapes his knee.
"Giorno, are you okay, darling? Here, let's put a bandaid on that!" The boy looks at you with tears in his eyes as you reach down and kiss it better.
Dio is still in the same spot, wondering what he did to deserve this. A century ago, he would never have imagined that this would be his life. He isn't a religious man, but he finds himself thanking whatever god is out there for the two of you.

That evening when you're in your room together, he takes you by surprise.
"Thank you, Sofia." He takes his eyes from you, looking at the ceiling in thought.
"Thank me? For what?" Dio isn't the sentimental type, he isn't someone who just thanks his spouse out of nowhere.
"For everything. For being with me. You and Giorno are everything to me." He takes your hand as he directs his attention back to you.
"So are you for us, Dio. I love you."
"I love you too." You're softly smiling at each other, but the tender moment you're sharing is interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Giorno shyly walks in.
"I had a nightmare. Can I sleep here?"
"Of course, come in." His father tells him.
No, Dio never imagined his life would look like this.
He wouldn't change it for the world.
