Personalized Mermaidkin Tea Request
@meltymermaiid Asked for a more personalized tea request than the one I did for a general mermaidkin, so here goes nothing!! Congrats on winning the raffle!!
First, have this Cotton Candy tea from David’s Tea. I seriously love David’s tea, specifically for the amazing tea blends that they make, like this. This has got actual cotton candy that will melt into the hot water, nut brittle and candied mango so you know it will be a boardwalk carnival in a mug! I’m not going to lie, I may be buying this for myself. Also, it works best in a latte, and that’s always fun!
Because you love the ocean, try this Ocean Tea. It doesn’t smell like the ocean (That’d be a little strange in a tea!) but it does have mint, lavender, and blueberry, so it’ll be a real nice tea.
Finally, try this Blue Chai Tea!! Fun story about this tea: it actually brews to be a bright blue!!! And it’ll change to purple if you add lemon!! The packaging is super organic, and everything about it seems super tasty and nice!! It should taste like plain green tea! And just for kicks, here’s a seashell mug to enjoy all your tea in!
I hope I found something that piques your interest, and congrats again on winning!!
Personalized Tea Request
@lokifruitsalad gave me a whole list of teas that they like, but since they don’t label themselves with any kintype, I don’t have much to say about the teas? So I’m just going to give you a few of my favorites and stuff I find around in a list!
Passion Herbal Tea: This is one of my favorite teas in this world I think. It’s bright pink, slightly sour, and has that hibiscus you like! If you add lemonade, it tastes like exactly like Starbucks Passion Tango tea lemonade, because, here’s a little secret, it’s the same brand!!
Speaking of Tazo, here is another delicious hibiscus blend called the Egyptian Ruby Herbal Tea, with some pineapple for sour, and some peppermint for fun !
For more sour, have some Citrus Lavender Sage Herbal Tea! I know herbal teas weren’t high on your list, but trust me when I say that this tea will taste more citrus than herbal, with zesty pineapple, apple, and orange balancing nicely with sage, lavender, and sea buckthorn.
And finally, have a Dragonfruit Devotion Tea Blend! Full of tropical flavors and deliciousness, I’m sure you will love it!
Hopefully I gave you something that you haven’t already tried, and if you ever want to come talk tea with me, then I am totally game!!
Personalized Tea Request
Anonymous asked for teas for a Goddess of the moon, shadows, love and warriors. And let me say first that you sound like a very powerful and wonderful goddess, and I am quite honored to do this request for you. I really hope I do well! I actually had to do this in three different settings: one where I picked the teas, and two to write it all out! It was very frustrating, and I’m so sorry for the wait!
The first tea is something I’m a little... hesitant to put out here, since it does have to do with a woman’s menstrual cycle. But since you are a goddess, and its still a genuinely yummy tea, I’m going to put it anyways. Its a Woman’s Moon Cycle tea from Yogi Teas. It sounds super fantastic, with chamomile, raspberry leaf, cinnamon, and anise seed, and should do well to ease any pain, and not just menstrual cycle pain. Personally, I love Yogi teas as they are super good for both you and the earth, with organic, vegan teas in compostable tea bags, and I wouldn’t dream of giving a goddess anything that wasn’t organic.
Secondly, here is an Iron Goddess of Mercy tea. This tea is slightly more expensive than what I’d normally give, but I thought it was a good tea for a warrior goddess like yourself. This actually has a really fascinating legend behind it. The goddess Tie Khan Yin had a dilapidated temple in the Fujian province of China. A poor farmer took notice, and began to care for the temple when he could. After a while, the goddess sent him a dream saying he’d find a treasure in the cave behind the temple, where he found a single tea plant that became this very tea. Read the story here!
Finally, have a delicious Love Tea! Filled with earthy and floral tones, this tea is really something else. It contains cinnamon, vanilla, cacao nibs, and, of course, rose petals! Perfect for a love goddess!
I hope I did alright and you are happy with this! Again, I’m very sorry for the wait. Enjoy!
Personalized Tea Request
Anon asked for teas for a sea slug god who is gothic and powerful and doesn’t like lavender! I hope I do well!
First, I wanted to hit the god aspect, as I know it’s important to respect that, so try this Hand of God tea blend. It’s got fruit, jasmine, and plenty of antioxidants to keep your body living long! I wasn’t able to find anything specific to you being a sea slug god, and I apologize for that, so hopefully this will do.
A second god related tea to make up for not finding a sea slug related tea is this Pu Erh Bold Leaf tea. Pu Erh teas are often earthy like slugs, and the bold made me think of power! If you wish for a more powerful tea, take any tea blend and steep it to the latter end of the recommended brewing time for a stronger tea!
Finally, I’ve picked out this Edgar Allen Poe’s Black Tea blend. I’ve personally had these tea blends (I believe the Lewis Carroll one), and they are really good. I figured that Edgar Allen Poe is pretty gothic, with his macabre and slightly disturbing stories. The tea is earthy and smoky, with a taste of citrus for fun. I really think you will enjoy this! Also, here is a cool tea pot set I found that you might like!
I hope I did alright, and enjoy your tea!!
Personalized Tea Request
Anon asked for an elfkin with very specific requirements (thanks so much for those, btw, I wouldn’t want to give you something you are allergic too!) So here goes nothing!
The first one I’m going to give you is a Dandelion Detox Rooibus Tea! This tea has got tart cranberries and nice spice, mixed with a delicious dandelion root, which is said to help cure hangovers and the like! Dandelions just made me think of nice delicate things, like elves, and the detox will help purify your body! It’s a bit of a reach, but I think it sounds good.
The second is a Jasmine Creme Brulee Green Tea! This tea sounds delicate, sophisticated, and floral, all things that make me think of elves! Now, before you freak out, there is apple in here, HOWEVER, usually, when apple is in a tea, its there for sweetness, not for flavor, unless its explicitly an apple tea. Having had a lot of experience with David’s Tea, I can tell you that this tea will likely have little to no true apple flavor, so it should be good (and you said you weren’t allergic to it, so i think you’ll be fine!)
Finally, try a nice Midsummer Night’s Dream Herbal Tea! This is another one with apple in it (Trying to find a tea without apple on David’s Tea is so hard, friend, seriously. It’s because they use it for natural sweetner!), however, the tart gooseberries, sharp citrus, and delicious mint are sure to override it completely. Plus, look at that name! It was perfect! (yes, I know the play has fairies not elves, it was as close as i could find ok...)
This was a tricky one with all the restrictions, and admittedly i had to admit defeat with the apple, BUT i really think these teas will have no apple taste, and none of them have nuts! If you really don’t want apple at all, then I can try again, but I may have some big reaches with it to avoid apple. Hope this works!
Demonkin Tea Request
Anon asked for a demonkin with some floral, some spice or liquor flavors, so you know what? i covered them all!
First, I wanted to give you something dark and spicy, so try a Chocolate Chili Chai tea from David’s Tea! Yes, I just used this in another tea request, but i couldn’t not put it here, because it’s got the spice, its got the sexy chili AND chocolate, and its dark and delicious like demons! Love it!
For your liquor (yea, I got a liquor tea for you, I know, im awesome) how about a nice, light, Honey Prosecco Herbal Tea? Nice and floral like you personally like, with the taste of liquor for your demon side. Perfect for anyone who is too young to drink, but really wants to drink out of a wine glass while lounging in a black silk robe in a mansion. Because you know. Aesthetic.
But hey, not everyone likes a wine. So, would a mojito work for you? That’s right, I found not one, but two (actually a bunch more, i just picked two) liquor teas! This one is a wonderful Raspberry Mojito Herbal Tea! Having personally had this tea, I can tell you that it packs a real zing and is super delicious. Perfect for the demon on vacation!
Because I really wanted to give you this fourth, more demon-y one, here’s a Cardamom Macchiato White Tea! Yea, I know, why would you get a coffee flavored tea when you can just get coffee, yadda, yadda (1. Less caffeine, 2. More health benefits, 3. makes you sound fancier, etc...) But, this just sounded so luscious and dark and perfect for a demon of the night that I just had to throw it in! (Plus the first one is kinda a cop out.)
I hope i hit something you like! As always, if you don’t like any, let me know! Thanks for the request!
Personalized Tea Request
Anon asked for teas for a burnt out phoenix that fell into the ocean and dreams of flying again! I’m sorry for the wait, and I hope I do okay!!
First, let me say I relate so much to wanting to fly again. Like, so, so much. So, the first tea I picked was this Emperor’s Clouds and Mist tea. It is cultivated at high elevations of 3,500 feet! If that’s not as close to flying as a tea can get, then I don’t know what is! Also, the taste changes from smoky, to slightly sweet, which I thought was nice for a phoenix that burns up, only to become a sweet bird.
Second, I’ve got a Phoenix White Leaf Oolong Tea! I’m going to be honest, but I was on this site because the store name is bird related, but then I saw this, and was so excited!! This tea is sweet and dry, with fruity notes and a smooth finish. Even though I don’t like oolong tea, It sounds pretty good!
Lastly, I thought I’d get you a Cinnamon Green Tea! This tea is actually a Ceylon tea, which is cultivated at low altitudes between sea level and 2000 feet in Sri Lanka. I thought maybe the low altitudes could connect to the falling, especially since I gave you the high altitude tea too. I find cinnamon also gives me a bit of a burning sensation in my mouth, but that might just be me!
Hope this is good! Enjoy!
