so im watching wormwood on netflix - docudrama about mk-ultra and the cover up of dr. frank olson’s death/suicide/murder. i’m only 2 and a half eps in but i highly recommend it! incredibly interesting, horrifying and accurate in my opinion. trigger warnings so far: drugs (lsd) and suicide.

me: *spends 8 years hiding my tattoos from my parents and making sure they don’t find out because they hate and disapprove of them and will kill me if they find out*

me: *decides that now is time to tell them and spends 2 sessions talking to my therapist about it, drafts up an email and gets 4 friends to read it, check it and edit it for me*

me: *nearly throwing up when it’s time to send it and then freaking out about it and having a panic attack over it*

my mum: “as long as they’re not on your bum hole!!!”

my dad: “we love you no matter what, as long as you’re happy”
