I got a personal question for you, since we know that Wonder’s team of phantom thieves can power up into more powerful units; mostly 4⭐️ turning into 5⭐️ as another version of themselves, and since we know that Wonder has been in a loop with different teams of phantom thieves: Do you think that the phantom idols 5⭐️ could be powered up versions of the previously failed teams of phantom thieves; like if they also powered up or what it could look like if they powered up before.

I think I understand your question- you're asking I think if the alternate versions of certain Phantom Idols (such as Frostgale Mont, Seaside Moko, and Lion Dance Rin) might be their potential 5-star upgrades from other timelines (like, their version of Ceaseless Wind, Eternal Night Luce, and Pioneer Soy)?

Honestly, in my personal opinion? No, heh. The 5-star alternate versions we've gotten so far have all either connected to an event, or to their new Synergy, which feels different from the story upgrades that our team has gotten, at least to me. For instance:

Seaside Moko, and Summer Marian and Puppet, are pretty obviously equivalent to Tropical Closer, and the summer costumes for Wonder, Soy, and Wind. It may be a given, but these feel the least like their upgrades/powerups in the main story.

- Lion Dance Rin feels the same to me. It was an outfit she wore as part of the Spring Festival event, similar to Wonder's Spring Festival costume.

Frostgale Mont is just a costume from her Synergy that's given a mask in the Metaverse, so it doesn't really feel like a plot upgrade, either. To me it feels more like it represents Wonder's new understanding of her, or something, rather than an upgrade of her 4-star form. None of the story teammates' upgrades so far were based on a real-world outfit, either.

- Colorful Bui also falls in this category, in my opinion. It's a costume that they unlocked within Harvest World Online, as part of her new Synergy; it's not really an upgrade to the original Bui in the same sense that the story teammates' upgrades are, and it's basically equivalent to her wearing that outfit in the real world, haha.

Sorry if that's kind of a boring answer, though! I just personally don't think outfits worn as part of an event/as part of a Synergy would make any sense as their Metaverse "upgrades" from other timelines- and honestly, they don't really fit the idea of "overflowing desire for life" in my opinion, either.

Even though we're not on the topic, do you remember Reo's original incognious persona; seen with him on his beta card in beta 1, do you think they might redesign it and give it to another phantom thief.

You mean this Persona design, right?

Honestly, the art really looks like concept art, so I think maybe it was just a very early version of Erytheia? Or, in other words, this Persona already got redesigned, into the Erytheia we know.

But there's often been weird situations with stuff in the beta test files, so I could be wrong. In that case, who knows, anything is possible! Personally, I think the Persona I'm still the most curious about is Pegasus.

I can't wait for the P4 remake to collaboration with P5X then I'm gonna have all the protagonists in one party

Heh, well, let's keep in mind that a remake still hasn't been announced yet for P4, so we probably shouldn't place all our bets on it happening! I do agree there's some evidence that one might be coming, but we'll just have to see.

Either way, we do know they want to do a collab with P4, regardless of whether it's getting a remake, so that's definitely worth looking forward to. Although it won't feel like having "all the protagonists" to me unless we get the female P3 protagonist, and the P1 and P2 protagonists, personally. I suppose that'd be a few too many characters to have on one active team though, heh!

Do you have models for Vino and Pheobe's Masks, just Vino is fine if you can find it, since Pheobe isn't out yet.

I sensed some tension between Riko and Motoha in Wind's trailer mostly because she only talked to Closer even though the others were there. So, I ship them, but it'll be sad for Shun based on the translations that he may have a crush on Closer.

Heh, you mean romantic tension? Well, I know this blog has a tag for Rikoha already, so there's at least one other person shipping it with you.

Honestly, to me, it just sort of made sense that Closer would be the one to call out to her, since Closer's pretty friendly, and Riko and Motoha already knew each other prior to Riko joining the team (plus they needed someone to mix up her name so Riko could introduce her codename)! But I'm also not much of a shipper, myself.

As for Shun having a crush on Motoha, that was outright canon in the third beta, though changes to that plot when it was added to the open beta made it less explicitly clear. I'm guessing you're right that he still has a crush on her, though.

Do you think that since Vino was the same element as Queen that Wind will be revealed before Futaba's chapter since their both navigators.

I do think Wind will be added to the game before Futaba's chapter of the collab, yes, but you seem to be implying they'll be added in the same update, which I don't expect to be the case. (Also, it's still uncertain whether Wind is an actual navigator, or just able to act as a navigator, like Mona and Queen do!)

The primary reason I doubt Wind would be added in the same version as the Futaba chapter of the collab is the rough update cycle timeline that the developers posted a while back. It lists "mainline versions" and "event versions" separately, which means that story content for the game can be expected to come in different updates than events (such as the collab chapters). Since Wind is a story teammate, she'd be added with a mainline update, then, not an event update.

I think it's probably safe to assume only Phantom Idols will get added to the game with event updates... and maybe also whatever the "festival-themed characters" they mentioned are, haha.

Do you think the 8th member of wonder's team could be a girl, I was looking through a lot of things and saw that Joker's team had an even amount of characters/teammates for each gender, even if you include Crow, Violet, Sophie and Wolf, and based on the p5x stickers each member of Joker's team is with a member of Wonder's team and both people are the same gender, also with the direction Wonder's team is going on, adding Polter, both genders should have the same amount of people so far. Enco will also join adding on to the boys, so there will be another girl needed, plus if Polter and Enco are added then Enco might be with Fox but Poltor will share either Oracle or Noir which is why I think the eight member or another member will be a girl.

Well, it's very possible, if he even has that many team members! It does seem reasonable to assume that he'd have a teammate to correspond with each of the original Phantom Thieves, but it is worth noting that Wonder's team has had one fewer teammate than the original PT did for a while now. It's possible that trend will continue, and he'll only have 7 teammates by the end of whatever the "main story" here is! Not to mention, Violet wasn't in the original game, so the original PT team could have been considered unbalanced if you're counting Crow.

I'm not sure if it's necessarily an accurate reflection of what they'll do for his team, but as far as Phantom Idols go, there is a significantly larger number of girls than boys, as well. That may be because they're targeting the game at a primarily male audience, and think that girls will sell better, of course, but if Wonder's team ends up being short one female teammate, this could partially be to help "balance" that, so to speak.

Right now it's really just a mystery! Anything could happen, heh.
