Coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee!
In case you can’t tell, I love coffee.
And on long hot summer days in Perth, I love COLD coffee!
And that’s exactly what drew me into The Pulp Cafe on Friday morning. Well that and the adorable pastries!
This place has such an adorable set up, with the coffee being made on an island in the centre of the store. The vibe was fantastic, it was clear a lot of the customers were regulars, as the staff were chatting with them like old friends.
Despite knowing my poor tummy would pay for it later, I ordered an apple strudel with my cold brew (I’m a sucker for any desserty things made in-house), and it did not disappoint. The strudel was tasty, but the cream was the star surprisingly! The vanilla infused cream was so rich, almost like a custard. I must have looked like I was enjoying it, because one of the staff came over to offer me some more!
My coffee had a gorgeous, rich flavour with a fruity sort of feel too it. I wish I’d had more time to sit and have another! On my way out I couldn’t resist grabbing some of the fruity shortbread biscuits to bring to work as a little treat for my colleagues. They didn’t even last long enough to get a picture.
I’ll definitely be back! 😄
