Doric Street Kitchen
Thank you, Broadsheet for sending me out to photograph the cutest little cafe in Scarborough, called Doric St Cafe + Kitchen. This little-hidden gem is hidden in amongst a few small business and houses! You have to know where Doric St Cafe + Kitchen is! It’s not a place you would just walk past and think that’s what makes it special.
It was full of locals were staff knew the customers by their…

Tiisch
Today I got invited to Tiisch cafe in Perth CBD, of course with camera in hand! Sarah (one of the owners) asked if I was able to take few snaps the yummy food that they have on offer. From on the go breaky bowls, lunch meals, coffee & cake!
Just shooting in the cafe and using natural light, this is what we came up with.
Let’s be e-mail friends! Keep up to date with the Billie + Peaches crew!

effective cure to my procaffeination ☕️ bon weekend! (at Felix & Co. Specialty Coffee)
The Pulp Cafe- Perth
Coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee!
In case you can’t tell, I love coffee.
And on long hot summer days in Perth, I love COLD coffee!
And that’s exactly what drew me into The Pulp Cafe on Friday morning. Well that and the adorable pastries!
This place has such an adorable set up, with the coffee being made on an island in the centre of the store. The vibe was fantastic, it was clear a lot of the customers were regulars, as the staff were chatting with them like old friends.
Despite knowing my poor tummy would pay for it later, I ordered an apple strudel with my cold brew (I’m a sucker for any desserty things made in-house), and it did not disappoint. The strudel was tasty, but the cream was the star surprisingly! The vanilla infused cream was so rich, almost like a custard. I must have looked like I was enjoying it, because one of the staff came over to offer me some more!
My coffee had a gorgeous, rich flavour with a fruity sort of feel too it. I wish I’d had more time to sit and have another! On my way out I couldn’t resist grabbing some of the fruity shortbread biscuits to bring to work as a little treat for my colleagues. They didn’t even last long enough to get a picture.
I’ll definitely be back! 😄
Willie Wagtail
I had the most lovely coffee experience the other day and I just had to share!
I was feeling tired and cranky and this sign seemed like... well... a sign! On a typical Perth morning, hot coffee offen doesn't feel quite right. I love that I'm finding so many places starting to do cold drip as an alternative to milky iced coffee. Willie Wagtail's offering did not disappoint, that was a seriously tasty coffee! Beautiful rich flavour, and so refreshing! The staff were just gorgeous. Quick, friendly service, with that hipster vibe that just screams, "We knew what an aeropress was before everyone jumped on the bandwagon." And I loved having a little sit down in their adorable courtyard before heading off to work.
The food options were looking pretty tempting, but that amount of bread was never going to end well for me. However, I almost caved when I saw that 'Bacon Bad Boy.'
So basically, for anyone who needs that morning pick me up (or mid-morning. Or afternoon-y. Or just love good coffee), Willie Wagtail is just on William St in Perth CBD, near the train station, and you won't be disappointed!
