Not food related but how lucky are we to be able to see this less than an hour's drive away from Perth? Starry starry skies taken at Perth Observatory's winter night tour. Love the amazing commentary by the volunteers there and this is definitely something worth checking out in Perth. Coz we all need magical sprinkles of stardust. ✨ Thank you to the kind stranger (12 yo pro photographer might I add) who lent me his tripod to take this shot. Yesterday I sacrificed my good night sleep to go to Perth Observatory and it was totally worth it! The Observatory located about 40 minutes away from Perth, but it's far enough to get away from Perth's light pollution. We got the chance to explore the Observatory, see the telescopes, museum, a bit of Jupiter and takes amazing photos. It was only then that I found out they do night tours.  The sky was clear, the moon wasn't visible, making it an ideal condition to take photos of the stars. We were lucky to stick around till the end of the night; there were only four of us left and Matt, one of the staff, showed us this little gem. I must say this is my favourite shot from last night. Very grateful to be able to learn a bit of astronomy and take amazing photos around the observatory.
