I spend wayyyy too much time watching people talk about books online, so I’m so glad to be able to gush about a bunch of those people who’s reviews I love, recommendations I trust, and content I’m endlessly entertained by! Here’s a massive list:
~ Regan from Peruse Project (her reading vlogs are so homey and entertaining, her instagram feed + fashion taste are stunning, she is so articulate about her thoughts on books, and she is the no. 1 channel I go to for recs - especially for fantasy and historical fiction!)
~ Kat from Paperback Dreams (her videos are so entertaining and informative - the chaotic energy is real, the reviews are honest, and the recs are top notch)
~ Cam from Page Nomad (I love his content. The concepts of his videos, and the depth of his discussion, always blow me away. Plus he gives writing advice. Double plus, he’s a fellow Australian)
~ Ash from A Dash of Ash (Her many videos crying over her love of Percy Jackson resonate on a personal level - I’ve loved her channel and content for ages, and click every time I see one of her tags or TBRs on my home page)
~ Elliot from Elliot Brooks (I am not the biggest reader of high fantasy, but I watch Elliot’s videos every time because her discussions and opinions on certain books/authors/genres/tropes are always so in depth and thought provoking)
~ Eleni from Books With Eleni (recently stumbled across her instagram and channel, and love her YA reviews - she’s got me wanting to pick up Stalking Jack the Ripper ... plus, she is yet another fellow Aussie)
~ Cindy from Read With Cindy (Cindy is a booktube legend - she is blunt, honest, hilarious. She reviews both books I’ve never heard of and the internet’s hyped favourites - I think I’ve watched every single video on her channel because I can’t get enough.)
~ Noria from Noria Reads (Noria’s channel is awesome - she’s funny and engaging, and has introduced me to so many books that I otherwise wouldn't heard of)
~ Lana Frances from Thoughts Under The Bun (Another fellow Aussie/New Zealander! She has hilarious videos and honest reviews - I can’t wait to watch more of her content as she continues to post.)
~ Samantha from Thoughts on Tomes (Samantha’s videos are also ones I binge. I love her in depth discussions on specific books, as well as her broader recommendations per genre. Her tag videos are so entertaining, and she too has introduced me to books I otherwise wouldn't have come across)
~ Naya from Naya Reads and Smiles (I love watching Naya because her videos radiate the most positive energy! She’s always so optimistic and excited, and talks highly of so many books that have subsequently made it to my TBR)
~ Caleb from Caleb Joseph (If I tell you I hysterically laugh every time I watch one of Caleb’s videos, I mean I hysterically laugh. I click on every 40 min video and sit through the entire thing because he’s that good.)
