Just finished the chapter sampler and I can already tell this is going to be an amazing book! I am assuming there is a prologue or a chapter before this because they referenced things that happened to them the night before. I definitely hope there is some sort of love triangle because (SPOILER ALERT: MARK IS BACK!). Emma is still as sassy and amazing as ever, but she and Julian had a fight over parabatai. It is not clear to Emma whether the fight was over how he did not want a parabatai to begin with or he does not want her to be his parabatai (insert ship here). We also get some Julian POV so hopefully we will find out what he means. Later on, two faerie ask a favor in return for Mark and part of what was inscribed on Emma’s parent’s bodies. Their task: find the person who killed Emma’s parents and bring him/her to the faeries. While this text is not finalized, I think this is going in a great direction! So excited to read the rest of it soon!!
