At Modern Times - small pours of Modern Times / Shacksbury Cider Wizard & Graf: Chapter 2 (4 of 4), Modern Times Transit of Venus with Sauv Blanc Must (4 of 4), and Modern Times / Almanac Pescespada (4 of 4). All excellent in their own way, and some great hybrid styles here with quite a lot going on with the yeast. The first is clearly a cider hybrid and is crisp and clean with a nice bit of complexity. The Sauvignon Blanc must adds a nice fruity wine-like quality (as you’d expect) to the Transit of Venus, and it’s quite refreshing. Finally, the combination of tropical fruit hops and Almanac’s yeast strains produce an incredible complexity in a slightly thicker body. All great.
