I finally got my pet leech yesterday!

I fed him, and the little guy TRIPPLED in size

[Since Leeches are both male and female at the same time, it doesn't really matter if you call them he or she]

is Squeamchi! [You can call him Cream Cheese though]

I got leeches recently and my cat, Harry, was really interested in them

This might be extremely niche but if you have pet leeches, expect to bleed a LOT.

The way I combatted the bleeding (because leeches have an anticoagulant in their saliva (promotes bleeding and stops clotting)), was to use period pads. Literally strap a pad to the wound.

Also the reason you probably enjoy the feeding process is due to an oxytocin release similar to a mother feeding a baby.
