Last time I talked about people's obsession with dolphins in the late 90's/early 2000's but now I want to know, what do you call this 2000's aesthetic where characters targeted at girls were well rendered (in contrast of today's minimalism), had often glitters and girly characters all had makeup ??

Pet shops, especially in blue states, could make a few extra dollars by selling Kirsti Noem signs for the purpose depicted in the cartoon.

I L9VE big creepy crawlies. I remember as a kid, my father took me to a pet shop that had a room where someone could ask to hold some of the smaller animals! Tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, hamsters, mice and rats! I asked him to take me and I got to hold a tarantula, I think it was a mexican red knee, and a giant black scorpion!! I think I also held a little snake, don't remember what it looked like. I think I also wanted to hold a rat but my mother caught us and yelled at my father 😔

I want to go somewhere like that. It sounds amazing! Know what I'd like to keep? A giant millipede!

Ugh...!

Is there anything you're not going to want killed, if I keep it as a pet? 😢

I took two photos of these puppies who were in separate “containers”, “boxes”, whatever you may want to call them. The owner of the shop asked me to delete this pictures but i asked how come it is legal in france to keep these shops open. I asked where the puppies mothers were, how these dogs were bred, vaccinated, etc. of course, no answer. It infuriates me so much. They picked up the puppies by their back and handed them to people who wanted to take pictures and hold them. Others kept banging on the windows to wake up the other sleeping puppies. They all looked so exhausted.

We've started boycotting every pet store that sells those gods awful fucking shock collars for dogs. It's getting really fucking hard to find a pet store. Why in the ever loving are they soooooo popular that I've seen pet shops advertise them with huge displays at the checkout? If you think you need to use fucking electric shocks to train your dog coz you're too fucking lazy to use positive reinforcement, then you don't fucking deserve to have a dog...you never should've gotten one in the first place.
