The actual solution to the "Unnamed" or just weirdly named offspring problem is putting the Offsprings in their own tab like the Battle Stats.

The other two pet sims I play do the exact same thing because potato kids are really useless there so nobody bothers naming and nobody cares.

In Horse Reality, the pedigree is displayed on the "first" tab, the summary tab but the Offspring have their own tab, and never in my life have I care about their names.

Wolvden even puts the family information into a complete new window. They only show "Living Offspring" so every pup that died or got chased off doesn't even show.

I would NOT want Flight Rising to not show exalted kids, knowing how many people put a lot of work into funny or interesting offspring lists. I also don't think anyone should be allowed to rename an exalted dragon, especially not if you didn't even own the Dragon at the time of exalting it, but just making the offspring list a little LESS prominent and in the face off everyone when looking at a dragon would solve the issue for a lot of people.

Something like this very crude mockup I made with my small html editing skills. The Offspring get banned from the main profile as too speak, so the profile and the bio can be as perfect as everyone wants them to be, and nobody needs to care about the Offspring list unless they want too!

i somehow always end up coming back to this terrible game...

this is wolfplay, in case anyone anyone (aka everyone) was unaware. it's a browser game that i've been playing on and off for for 9 years now.

theres a lot i could say about this game, like how the ui is shit and it hasn't had a real meaningful update since like. basically its inception 11 years ago. it's not nearly as heartfelt or community driven as wolvden or lioden. but. man. theres just something about it that keeps me coming back to it.

i think it's a combination of the art, the blog posts, and the stories you can create for your wolves. i love the breeding genetics and how you can really build your pack.

anyway, heres my new heir. Blood Thrower, aka Thron. he's got a load of issues. chronic pain, chronic illness, living in a sulfur-filled crater, bros a mess. he's alpha of the pack, and (mostly) everyone accepts that. he's only 3 years old, but he feels as though he's 80. it's a rough life for a wolf, especially for one who's been through hell and back.
