Is he a glubby or pancake snail? a month ago I found him in someone's open garbage bin lid and took him
I felt bad for him and he since doubled in size on fish flakes and apple bits which he loves
I've never seen a snail here in Europe like this?

There's something so delightful about a slug all curled up.
My heart is melting
All Glory To Sluggo
i am once again feeling Emotional about my slug son so u all get to look upon these pictures of himmmmm
This is Goron, one of my slugs that I hatched from eggs. I don't usually hold them, but will try to take pics of them every few months to document their growth.
There's also: Molduga, Chu Chu, Horriblin, and 1 other that I still haven't named
The three one-eyed leopard slugs that I raised from tiny hatchlings, Polyphemus, Scott Summers, and Periscope ("Perry"), have all passed on. They didn't live the full life expectancy of leopard slugs in captivity, but the fact that they all died within a couple months of each other while being housed separately suggests that their mutation may have simply decreased their overall fitness. Their parent Max would have been exposed to several unpleasant chemicals in the greenhouse I collected him from, so it's not surprising that his offspring were a little messed up. Nevertheless, all three of them grew to prodigious size in the time that they lived, and I hope that means I cared for them well and gave them a longer time to experience the world (read: eat many worms and vegetable scraps) than they would have had otherwise with their deformity.
Anyway, here is the last video clip I was able to take of Perry waving his stalk around before he passed a few days later.
having a non traditional pet is so strange sometimes. like no i cant pet you or give you forehead kisses but we exist in the same space together and you are my little creature aha
