I am NOT joking!! It's between philosophy and English and I want to discuss the whole "when are things alive vs dead" and put it against the western perception of death (cause I have to use English speaking cultures). I want to talk about the in-between state of dead things being reused in nature to create life. Like whale fall how the death of one feeds the life of millions. To examine the negative view we have of death and decay and see if I can argue a bit against it (or maybe just hold it in a different light cause death does very much suck sometimes idk). Basically I read about whale fall and fungi (literally at the base of our ecosystem, we would not have a world without them) a couple years ago and lost every coherent thought. But I need to find a literary text about death or smth before tomorrow or my English teacher might not accept the idea and I'm struggling!! But you would be so very welcome to read it if I actually get the chance to write it❤
