so. i have this theory. that Remus. AKA Father Lupin. was the one who recruited them. let me tell you the story of how they met.
pete is the official tattoo artist for all three of them. they met through pete in uni (before remus went off to become Father Lupin). at this point, remus plays bass (we know he played for the youth worship group LOLLL). the three of them have a little get together, they all get a little drunk, they play their instruments and remus (drunk as shit) goes on a whole drunken rant of 'oh my godddd we should start a bandddd you guuuuys how craaaaazy would that be lollll'
and so they do?? but they're just like a shitty garage band and they don't play shows. and then remus goes off to seminary. they keep in touch. when he comes back, they get together and he tells the girls, straight off 'okay i'm a priest now but i still wanna play bass so can you keep a secret or nah' and Dorlene is like HELL YEAH WE CAN
