Do you think it's possible that Peter can actually manipulate his body to fit through small (impossible) spaces but he just never thought to test if he may have that ability?
I mean large spiders like; the huntsman can squeeze through the gaps in car doors/under house doors, and wolf spiders (another large species) live in small holes in the ground that are unbelievably disproportionate to their general size...
Just think that'd be a real cool spidey ability.
