Loooove the Pyotr posts, love the licks in general. I guess I have some hcs on him? More so random thoughts if you don't mind me sharing:

First impression I thought he was a metal head, since I thought his shirt looked like a band-tee and had the long black hair. Aside from his attire he looked drowned, with the white eyes, pale skin, and greasy looking hair. Then it was revealed he died on the job as an underwater welder so he was probably wearing his diving suit when embraced. Which makes me think he ditched it and stole clothes off a victim.

From what I recall he's referred to others as "kid" four times now, first when capturing boy, second when stabbed by Kitten (neat detail I noticed in this interaction Pyotr gives a little smile to Kitten before T-posing), third calling apeboy such before beating his skull in, and 4th when referring to boy again when talking to door about the last people standing. Odd because Kitten is obviously an Adult and Pyotr referred to shitbeard as an "oldman" along with Big D. So I don't think he's referring to Kitten as "kid" out of technicality considering he'd be like 50 something in 2006.

Likes too talk a LOT, even with others he's quite the chatter box. Is sarcastic and does like to joke around, an example was when he was making fun of how Door speaks and had another quick but fun little exchange with Kitten when commenting on Great Yarmouth. Kevin also mentioned Smerples with Pyotr, and said he mocked his cat. Obvious that he likes the sound of his own voice. Makes me think if he kept this same energy when he was alive and working and just liked to banter on when he could?

Really weirdly flirty with Kitten, referred to him as "Loverboy" twice, "sweetpea" and called his stilts "cute" even. Wasn't a one off thing, makes me wonder if Kitten left an impression on him? He did tell him too keep talking when referring to Vampires as "licks" maybe he was intrigued someone knew what there were. Btw DAMN Kitten is a babe magnet, his ex is still into him, he's got a fiance and a murderous hot Vampire was hitting on him.

I personally think he likes his new form, he's genuinely sadistic and awful. He loves to play the role of a monster and the look suits him. Though he probably didn't feel this way at first about his appearance or being turned.

The metal head hc doesn't have any real basis unless I want to take the Emo post OgreP made about him seriously, but I imagine the licks steal shit off their victims and Pyotrs calls dibs on any mp3 players or cassette tapes and listens to them hoping they have some music he would like.

I do wonder what his deal was when he was alive, like what were his dreams/goals? His passions? His hobbies? We know shitbeard was a biker and college man, Apeboy was probably just some nerd but that fight with shitbeard shows he has some knowledge in wrestling, and we know Kevin said he enjoyed his accounting job despite it being stressful and wanted to make it big. Maybe Pyotr just liked working and was really dedicated to it?

Also I assume the sleeping bag next to the shovels is his. I probably have more thoughts but I already sent so much lol, thanks for reading!

Where do I even begin...

First of all, thank you so much for your lovely ask. I'm very excited to answer this because I have MANY unposted thoughts on Pyotr. If you ever want to talk more my DMs are always open, I have a discord, or we can simply keep chatting in asks. I received this ask in the morning and have been eager to reply to it all day. I had been writing a comic script for Pyotr for the past 3 years, but unfortunately life gets busy and my mind finds other things to hyperfocus on. I haven't touched the script in roughly 10 months although it's mostly finished. It revolves around how he got embraced and the days leading up to it. Basically a lot of headcanoning, hours of historical research, and string on cork board moments. I have a LOT of thoughts about this man. I could probably fill a year's worth of queued content if I posted 1 headcanon per day. So let me pull up my notes and explain why I agree with 100% of what you sent me LOL I'm gonna start with his age and ethnics because everything else ties into this. I don't remember the exact math I did, but I had him at 29 when he was embraced in 1981. Birth date 1952. This would make him 54 in 2006. He spent several years learning commercial diving in trade school, gaining experience as a dive tender, and finally maturing into a commercial diver. (For background information, I used to work as a maintenance diver. Doing what Pyotr did, but merely assisting veteran divers.) It takes a handful of years to get to where Pyotr is. And you have to be very competent and savvy. Born in Gdansk, Poland during the ripe era of USSR Poland. This is /extremely/ important to how all my headcanons factored into his character. There's a lovely channel on youtube called The Ushanka Show and it's this man who retells his life living in USSR Ukraine/Russia. I used a plethora of his anecdotes to gain an idea of what Pyotr (Peter) went through growing up. I have a LOT of headcanons on this that don't even make it into the comic script, alas. The short version is he worked as a welder with his father in the shipyards and found an opportunity to leave the country via commercial diving - one of the few jobs that would allow you to travel outside of the USSR.

I'm a firm believer he's a metal head down to the bone. Metal was just becoming popular and the newest trend in the 70s when Peter was growing up. It started off as proto-metal in the late 60s and just went from there. Here is a playlist I made for Peter filled with songs I think he would have listened to while he was alive. 98% of them are year-accurate with a few scragglers after 1981. Metal however, was also banned from the USSR. All of his records would have been bought in special stores that would sell deficit/illegal/or imported goods. For example; some video tape stores would sell "illegal" records of music banned in the USSR but were top charting in the US. I think he would have collected these records and heavily got into the sound of metal. Being an edgy guy who was very independent, it was way better than soviet jazz. I'd be hard pressed of anyone from the 70s having long, straight, black hair Not being a metal head - especially at Pyotr's age and occupation. It's simply too good to pass up. The lad's got a lot of pent up rage but too tired or completely unable to express it privately. So he goes to listen to the angry 'satanic' music. Now for my favourite forensic evidence I've done on Pyotr; Why he looks the way he does and how did he die. I'm...obsessed about the thought of Nosferatu genetics and their mutation patterns. I have this like...fictional research going on where a character is researching Nosferatu genetic patterns. Do they have matching traits to their sires? Do common pre-embrace traits show up in other Nosferatus with different sires? Do pre-existing medical conditions factor in how they mutate once embraced? Do the environment they were in affect their mutation transformation? I used all of these questions to come up with a design for Pyotr's sire, but I'll go into that another time maybe. I believe he "drowned" while under pressure - as you said. In my script, he's wearing a drysuit in his final moments. The steel neck ring connecting his helmet to the suit gets snapped through crushing jaw force (a trait nosferatus can have). The ring snaps in half under the pressure of the embrace, and afterwards he's thrown off the ship an into the ocean - however wearing a full drysuit rig is Extremely Heavy. 120lbs worth. I think he does what anyone would, and try to escape his drysuit whilst choking on water. He attempts to make an emergency ascent, causing all the air in his lungs and body to expand, introducing a serious case of decompression sickness. Hence - his chest expands like a balloon and his eyes bulge out of his head. Look or sound familiar? He likely finished his transformation underwater which - fish also enjoy eating flesh off bones...or faces.

Finally, I'll try to make this quick, my headcanons on his Dreams, Passions, and Hobbies. I have A Lot of content written for this, but I'm simply going to list these in bullet points for now and expanded upon later if asked.

Dreams and Goals: To get out of USSR occupied territory i.e. Move out of Poland. Ideally with his family. And into a HOUSE with more than ONE FUCKING ROOM. He would get rich quick as a commercial diver, use his traveling pass outside Poland, gain citizenship in another country, buy a house with his fat wallet, then move his family over. He needed his own space, but still loved his parents to not want to leave them. (They lived in a city, and therefore in a gostinka- where the entire family lived in an apartment with only a single room. Pyotr had NO privacy and was never home alone 99% of the time.

Hobbies: Collecting music records/cassettes, watching banned or nostalgic films with his father (20000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Blob, spaghetti westerns.) Keeping an aquarium - a rare thing to be able to keep pets in the city. Long walks by the beach (the only time he ever got to himself unless he was working underwater). Passions: He's certainly passionate about bananas and oranges LOL. I wish I were joking. These were a rare treat for him his parents would buy on super special occasions (they were deficit items.) He was passionate about worker's rights and political protests. He absolutely hated the USSR. Especially as a blue-collar worker. He watched many of his coworkers disappear or straight up killed during protests. All of a sudden Stevan would be missing and he'd have to go fill in his shift. I headcanoned him as having a younger brother at one time who was murdered at a protest right in front of him. And another time when his father went missing after Peter couldn't find him on shift at work (they work at the same shipyard.) Thankfully he DID return, but not without bruises. Peter was absolutely fed up and furious over his living conditions, having to wait in 7 hour long lines for groceries or toiletry supplies, and the working conditions. He had a lot on his plate growing up, and I don't think he would have had the time to think about love - unless it were to marry and gain his own apartment. But maybe another reason he didn't marry was because he wasn't interested in women... That's all I'm going to type for now, my eyes are tired and it's been almost three hours. I hope this satisfies you until our next meeting :) I've scattered some random Ushanka Show videos and historical weblinks throughout this if you feel up to a little educational adventure.
