controversial opinion: I liked Gamora’s arc in GOTG vol. 3

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD

she isn’t the same Gamora. she had none of the same formative experiences from vols. 1 and 2, and if they had molded her to become that Gamora it would’ve fallen flat. but it was important for her to interact with Quill so that they could establish an understanding. 

i totally understand why Quill was so bad at every interaction, and i loved that we got basically an entire movie of GOTG vol. 1 scene 1 Gamora. and then I’m so glad she didn’t join them. the Ravagers MISSED her. she has FRIENDS and a HOME. she has a LIFE. we didn’t see her build that life, but that doesn’t make it any less important to her.

🤔🤔🤔 korean artists have such creative ideas, now I'm thinking of roquill where during the Blip, Rocket is stuck with a Peter whose celestial side awakens and taking over Peter’s body.

It's easy to see that this is not Rocket’s Peter. His smile is too fake. He acts like he's above all and doesn't have a caring bone in his mind.

Celestial Peter doesn't see the problem. He looks like Peter and he sounds like him. In his opinion, Rocket lets his emotions control him. Mortal emotions. But that's what he likes about him. He’s very interested in Rocket's love for Peter.

"I quite enjoy being loved. Alright, Rocket. I'll be your Quill."

"You can't even imitate him." Rocket growls. "And stop smiling. It's creepy when you do it."

But this Peter sticks around, emotionally torturing Rocket, driving him up the wall because he looks like his Peter that he lost.

Thor Odinson is a famous actor and Peter Quill hosts his own TV show. They met on Peter’s show and sparks flew immediately. After some dates, they decided to become a couple. It’s been 3 years and Thor decided it’s the best time to ask Peter to marry him and what’s the better way to do it than being on Peter’s show while promoting his next movie.
