The fight was definitely after Duke came back (Nathan mentioned that). It's unfortunately really vage how the Troubles come back and over what time period. A lot of people seem to have them long before Audrey came to town - just like Nathan

Well, I’m still rewatching for more info and corroboration, but early in season 2, during the ep where Nathan can feel in general because that dude took his Trouble away, Nathan tells Audrey that when she kissed him on the cheek that was “the first time in years” that he’ felt anything. So it was DEFINITELY a long time, more than a few months. At least there’s that!

I’m still hurting over what you said about nathan’s body reacting to keep him from being hurt *sobs*
