I should clarify that for an area level, I mean a certain chunk of levels centered around the same zone, aka:
Every level that goes from the Slalom to the Clocktower boss fight;
Every level that comes after the first Plutopia projector and that culminates in the Petetronic boss fight;
Every level that goes from Tortuga to the Captain Hook boss fight;
Every level that goes from where you get the Anvil to the Mad Doctor's Attic;
Every level that goes from the sea of Thinner at the bottom of Mickeyjunk Mountain to Oswald's sanctuary, with the area where you fight the Shadow Blot as an added bonus;
Every level from Dark Beauty Castle, including both versions of the level where you start the game; I don't consider the interiors of the Blot as part of the castle, so the area for me ends after you come back to Oswald in his control tower.
