Not at all! The Silmarillion, really, is technically the original events that happened with the entire creation of Arda <the world> (Middle earth Included), and the events that happen from the point of creation up until .... Well... I'll not spoiler it! You get a lot of content regarding the cosmology, ontology, and the whole way that events transpired before even the Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings! We're going back before BC time, baby!

61. do you believe in/follow any superstitions? nothing major, but the things i do believe in are all things surrounding not jinxing my hockey team (not talking about winning a hockey game before it's been won, not saying p*trick k*ne's name, etc.). you understand.

74. favorite time of year? september and october!! when it's still warm-ish but not sweltering hot and fall/halloween starts to creep up and that really delicious excitement for hockey season sinks into my bonez. plus i like to celebrate my birthday for the entire month of september like a true libra ♎️

82. favorite meal? my all time meal is a medium rare ribeye with japanese rice and a giant heap of spinach. to drink, ideally either a shirley temple or a glass of cabernet!

Just one! I live in northern brazil and it's never cold here lol unless I have the air conditioning on. And if I get too cold in the night I just turn it off.

Not great tbh. Received some upsetting family news, a relative is ill. They're likely to make a full recovery but well I was kind of shaken.

We just got in a fresh stock of Petoskey Stones from Michigan. These stones are actually 350 million year old, fossil rugose coral found along the beaches of Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, as well as in rock quarries in the area. Like the fossilization process of other corals, Petoskey stones formed when the polyp of the coral and its openings filled with sand and silt as it petrified. Over time the soft tissue decayed and the calcium carbonate “skeleton” of the colony was replaced by silica, calcite, and other various minerals forming a fossil. The rocks containing this fossil coral were exposed and broken up into smaller pieces by glaciation. These fragments of fossil coral subsequently became rounded and polished due to the action of both glaciers and waves on the lake shores.
