I tried to go the long way around in the Underdark, to get the basilisk oil before meeting the Spectator. Hoped to talk to a de-petrified drow in peace, but alas applying the oil started the cutscene. RIP depetrified drow, first to fall.
But at least I got to have a nice chat with Dhourn, Third son of House Ba'Tol, first rank evoker, and initiate of Gravenhollow's. Who minded his manners and handed over his memory shard and the passphrase. I love playing a drow woman :D (Screencaps below cut.)
