Precious babies (Izwae, Arcagh, Artimezt, Tecothy, Moy) and Dhourn
Round 1 — Match 18 / 23 — Viconia DeVir vs. Arcagh
Viconia DeVir is a drow cleric of Shar. She is the Mother Superior of the Shar enclave in Baldur's Gate. She is a returning character from Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, where she was a companion.
"shes basically the final horrible proof of where shar's whole belief system leads if u let it eat ur life. also i just think house of grief would be waaay less memorable without her. she makes the whole place feel nastier, pettier, and more personal in the best way."
vs.
Arcagh is a petrified drow fighter in the Underdark during Act One.
"the petrified drow fight is already memorable on its own, but i think characters like arcagh help it stick bc it feels like a real failed expedition instead of just random combat. dude got hired by dhourn, went chasing forge loot, got mixed up in the spectator mess, and now if he wakes up hes ready to make that everybody elses issue too. not a huge villian, but a very solid “wow this place sucks” antagonist."
Which antagonist do you prefer?
Viconia DeVir
Arcagh
The Stone Spiders (Link to AO3)
Word count: 28.2k
Characters: Moy, Dhourn, Artimezt, Arcagh, Izwae, Tecothy, Nym, Sorn, Rolan, Original Female Character
Summary: After who knows how long frozen in stone, Moy and his companions are finally free. The fate would have been bad enough on its own, but it means the vital and secret mission Moy was on has gone ignored for far too long. He needs to get it back on track, and quickly, if he wants to avoid losing everything that's important to him. He has a lot of time to catch up on, so he has to be swift, ruthless, and efficient.
Unfortunately for him, he isn't the only one with a secret.

The Petrified Drow & The Spectator
The Stone Spiders
Woo, hit 3/9 chapters drafted for this bad boy today! I think the last time I posted about this the project did not have a name and I've switched the appearances of Arcagh and Artimezt to better match up their voices/demeanours with what I was writing.
Anyway, for those that missed me waffling about this before, I'm writing a story about the six drow in the underdark and what happens to them after being un-petrified by Tav and their trusty band of adventurers. Featuring a LOT of made up stuff about these lads because let's face it they don't have a lot of lines (and only 3 of them have visible faces RIP).
After the six are made flesh once more--and a strange drow woman commandeers Dhourn's life's work--Moy is left with a head swirling full of thoughts. The mission he was on before being petrified was of vital importance, and he has no idea how much time has passed or the state of all the players. And now he needs to manipulate his fellow mercenaries into helping him - they'd never help if they knew the truth but it's no longer a task he can do alone. It's all complicated enough as it is but of course, these are all drow. Moy is not the only one with secrets.
For the New Year New You prompt from the BG3 2025 Creative Challenge, I have posted the start of a new story!!
That's right, all that time I spent waffling about those silly drow has come to fruition!
Here comes some chaos with the lads!
