Summary: After who knows how long frozen in stone, Moy and his companions are finally free. The fate would have been bad enough on its own, but it means the vital and secret mission Moy was on has gone ignored for far too long. He needs to get it back on track, and quickly, if he wants to avoid losing everything that's important to him. He has a lot of time to catch up on, so he has to be swift, ruthless, and efficient.

Unfortunately for him, he isn't the only one with a secret.

I think my favorite thing about Halsin and Arcagh is them both going “damn you need a break” and sometimes doing it at the same time so neither really settles and they’re both trying to play caregiver

Stubborn old men in their own ways, Halsin trying to look after Arcagh how he looks after everyone else, Arcagh being a protective old soldier trying to give his men safety they haven’t been afforded much before
