tonight i was hurt as a woman...

I disregarded my instincts and played a fool... A year later,tonight, i felt the repercussions. I was not aware of the hurt that came with being disrespected especially by men but then again men don’t speak to women the way he did. Men don’t announce private details in-front of others to embarrass you and exalt themselves. Especially in the face of your enemy.  It hurt though. Not the his actions, but mine. It was my decision, mine. I played myself, thinking he was a friend. I hurt not because of his childish, petty actions but because the woman I am allowed myself to acquaint myself with him.
