What did Hook do now? I stopped watching OUAT a little ways into the current season, and tbh I only watched for Henry. I keep seeing stuff and I know Hook screwed up but I have no idea what's going on

Oh dear, what he didn’t do...

I watch the show regularly but I mostly do that for Henry/Regina and Gideon/Rumbelle arcs. So from “back to hook” I actually copied my answer to someone else, otherwise it would be too long (the answer’s still long so I’m sorry)

So I’m not sure if you know who Gideon is? He’s Rumbelle’s son (Evil Queen speed up Belle’s pregnancy) and Belle wanted to protect her son from Rumple so she sent him away with Blue Fairy. Unfortunately they were attacked by Black Fairy (Rumple’s mother), who kidnapped Gideon and raised him and now Gideon is magically adult because apparently in Black Fairy’s realm time passes differently? (like in Narnia I guess? 20 years there are just few minutes in Storybrooke?) It’s a mess, really. Basically Gideon wants to kill Emma so he could become the Savior and kill Black Fairy at the end.

Back to Hook: basically charming has daddy issues (he thought his father died because he was a drunk, turns out that that his dad was trying to save david’s twin so they could be a family again and he was trying to make things right with his family and king george and even rumpelstiltskin cheered for him). All his life charming thought that his father was a drunk piece of trash, and when he found out that he he was stabbed to death, he ask his his pal killy willy poo, to help him find the murderer (meanwhile killy willy poo wants to propose to emma but he’s afraid that charming thinks of him that he’s nothing but a pirate - not that that would be wrong).

So 40 minutes later we find out that king george ordered his soldiers to kill charming’s father and charming goes wild: he’s trying to kill king george, but h00k stops him and reminds him he’s a hero. After that, charming happily blesses h00k “yes, of course you can marry my baby girl, you’re my buddy and the best i know” or sth like that.

PLOT TWIST: after seeing charming’s dad picture, pirate remembers, that it was HIM, who killed this innocent, defenseless man because “dead men tell no tales.”

next episode: emma found a ring in h00k’s belongings and she of course says yes. Later, (after h00k and captain nemo have a lovely chat of how h00k should tell emma the truth, because these memories will always hunt him), killy willy poo is watching what he did in the dreamcather and he prepares to burn it. Suprise, surprise, emma sees that and discovers that hook killed her granfather!

It doesn’t bother her, of course, because he has “changed”. The only thing, about slaughtering the innocent guy emma is concerned about, is “why you didn’t tell me after all we’ve been together i would forgive you and as would my parents, of course they would forgive you.” Drama, emma breaks off the engagement, hook wants to run away with nemo because life is really unfair because for the first time, there are consequences to his actions. But then he changes his mind, and he comes to nemo’s ship to say goodbye but SURPRISE! the ship is leaving with h00k on board! Turns out that it’s gideon, who wants hook out of the picture for what he has planned for emma. (honestly i love gideon, he’s the captain of anti cs ship, bless him). In next episode, Regina and Snow take Emme for drinks, and of course craptain swan shippers hate Regina for it.

tl;tr killy willy poo killed david’s father and emma is more angry about “why he didn’t hell me” part rather than “you killed innocent guy who was someone very important to my dad” part. Also, gideon is pure, misunderstood cinnamon roll, we should all protect

BONUS: this is what literally happened in the last episode (from the script):

Emma: You were about to burn your own memories. Why would you do that?Hook: Because I was ashamed, Emma, and scared of losing you and everything that matters to me.Emma: And you really think that would happen after everything we've been through? Hook:You tell me how am I supposed to sit across from your mother and father at the table and look them in the eye after what I've done?Emma:I'm not saying it would be easy. You know them. You know they would forgive you. That's who they are.Hook:This isn't just about them. This is about me.

So I kind of only lurk on the edges of the pjo fandom but like… in my head Percy was always poc? I kind of for some reason assumed it, and apparently it's not canon? Idk. And in light of this, do you have any poc Percy headcannons?

Yeahhh it’s not, like, specified in text, but Percy was written as white. POC Percy definitely makes so much sense though, and is an amazing headcanon that I adore!!

Being white and Australian and very uneducated in the nuances of life as someone who isn’t white in America, though, I don’t really have any headcanons to add to the general idea or anything, unfortunately, but I do love it

Hi! I've recently been reading through your Stydia fics which are just amazing and just so well written like wow. I can't read all of them yet, because I'm only looking like halfway through season 2. So, I was wondering if you had any recs for fics that aren't spoiler-y or are in AU? I know about like, Alison's death and Stiles' real name and that Scott is a true alpha and stuff (I have no idea what it means tho) but nothing super in depth about what's to come.

AYYY i say this every 5 minutes but season 2 is my favourite season :) most people like season 3 better, though, so you’re in for a treat.
