During capture the flag, Percy doesn't get put on border patrol because Annabeth doesn't trust her not to mouth off at some random camper and call down the wrath of the gods.
Instead, Perse gets put with her "son's" cabin. The trio trip up other cabins with a grape vine jump rope, giggling the whole time. The twins will curl vines around campers ankles and pull them down.
Demeter cabin and the Dryads get in on the fun, too. Soon, the war zone looks more like an arboreal explosion. The winner's of that weeks Capture the Flag get grape vine and laurel leaf crowns.
(Percy might not know much, but she knows this much. Capture The Flag should be fun AND informative. No campers will be under the threat of maiming or dismemberment when Perse is there.)
I'm sorry to report the dryad of that White Pine in the park has been arrested. Yeah seems she's been selling state secrets every December to get extra cash for Christmas presents. You could say her crime was treesonal.

Some time ago, I designed a dryad for every platycerium/staghorn fern species I have or have had (my grande died, but the rest lives). They are sorted here in the following order:
p. ridleyi
p. bifurcatum
p. superbum (+ grande)
p. elephantotis
p. veitchii lemoinei
p. cabbage
p. madagascar alcicorne
p. quadridichotomum
p. stemaria
p. coronarium
My collection has grown with two p. madagascariense and a p. mt. kitshakood since I made these, so I suppose I’ll do two more at some point. The line art, ink layers, my design thoughts and some plant talk is publicly posted on my Patreon.
