Positivity Week Day 1
What do I like about these guys and why did I subscribe to them? Oh boy let’s see~
Jack’s a wonderful person to watch generally! He’s energetic, he’s optimistic, he’s thoughtful, he’s empathetic, and he cares very much about the community that he’s built up. He’s a great role model to look up to, and yet, out of the three, he’s also the youngest one (in years and career) to be doing this. You see, he’s the definition of hard work and great attitude can get you very far. He’s also the fastest growing one out of these three, and like Felix always say about him, he’s one of the kindest person on YouTube, as well! He’s a humble person, and he made sure to never forget the journey that took him this far, the journey that we all took with him. I love that he takes the time to always connect with us, and the fact that he always take the time to talk to us and answer question results in a firm grip on his community, the community that’s well-known for its incredible kindness that reflects Jack as a person himself. It’s also through this connection that we’re constantly reminded that Jack is a person just like us, and thus, we need to treat him like a human: with respect. Overall, he definitely deserves the 14 million subscribers right now, and I will continue to support whatever endeavors he chooses to face (like now. I’m rooting for ya, Jack!)
Next up, Mark! Oh gosh, truth be told, whatever I’ve managed to put down on here will not suffice the whole experience I had with him during JUST these past two months that I’ve been in these YouTuber fandoms. Simply put, Mark’s a complicated person and an enigma for me to understand. He’s also the source of all of my exasperation, even more so than Felix ever will be. But, despite all of that, if you ask if I will continue to stick by him for these months and years to come, I will give a firm yes. He’s managed to won me over, and truth be told, there were times where my views of Mark were less than stellar compared to right now. It was one hell of a rollercoaster on my ride with Mark, but I do not regret any moment of it. This man is an amazing human being, and to be honest, while he also has his flaws like the rest of us human beings (as he has come to admit often), his better qualities are something to admire greatly. I’m just so proud of him for all of the charities that he does for the betterment of the world, especially this last one where he managed to rally the viewers to raise $50,000 PLUS in just an HOUR; It’s no wonder he’s also known as one of the most generous YouTubers! I could say more, but right now, just know, it’s been only two months, and yet, it feels like I’ve been watching him for much longer than that. I’ve learn so much about Mark, and I’ve cried with him when he allowed his emotions to leak through for a video.
Finally, Felix. Believe it or not, I’ve also fell in love with some of Felix’s quality as a YouTuber and as a person. As a YouTuber, he does well for the position that he holds! He’s raised charities, and he also put together some events and specials for our entertainment. As the most subscribed YouTuber right now, I say he did his job well, and I’ll be honest. Better him having the seat of most influence (as the most subscribed YouTuber) than some other YouTubers. And that’s not to say he doesn’t have any admirable qualities, because he DOES. Felix, I say as a person, is very genuine when it comes to the times that it mattered. I know Felix knows that YouTubers (especially him) are gaining even more influence everyday (if the drama right now doesn’t diminish that...), and with this overblown drama, I’m sure he also realized with Mark that he has a duty of sorts. I’ll elaborate more on this on Day 6, but know, that I think he fully understands just how severe his job is. What he says and does matters, and with millions of people having their eyes on him daily, he needs to constantly be more self-conscious of his actions. Beyond this, he, too, is an amazing person. Again, he’s done charities, and he’s overall a very well-managed person in spite of the many duties that he’s acquired over the years as founder of Revelmode and such... Even so, we’re called to remember that he, too, is human just like all of us. Time and time again, the vlogs and talks that he does with us reminds us that he’s vulnerable to questions and concerns in life, too. In fact, they highlight the fact that his position as the Queen Elizabeth of YouTube is not a comfortable seat. Being a YouTuber for a living, in fact, is not a chill job for anyone AT ALL. But hey, it’s through these hardships that he reminds us of his genuineness and honesty as a person. He’s not afraid AT ALL to call out BS when he sees fit (the media) and I’m sure he’s not afraid to point something out for a person. He’s genuine as a creator, and that’s something to admire.
This post got way too out of hand I’m sorry lol, but if you’re wondering where’s the part that I mention why I subscribed to them, this is it. I don’t mainly see these guys as creators, but in fact, more like people behind screens. I see past the content that they put through, and I watch out for their character and personality. I can see that they’re all generally good people, and that’s why I subscribed to them.
Positivity Week - Day One
Idea from this lovely person and their post!
Okay, day one!
“What made you subscribe/what do you like about Mark/Jack/Felix?”
Well, I haven’t subscribed to Felix, because again, his style just doesn’t click with me. I still support him and respect him for what he does, however. I like how he’s willing to push boundaries, yet still be able to realize when he’s in the wrong and apologize for it. He’s also a good person, and I respect him a lot.
I technically didn’t subscribe to Mark or Jack until recently, as I didn’t have the account to do so, but I’ve been watching their videos regularly since February of last year (one year here woot!).
I found Mark first, through friends that had been telling me to check out his channel. I believe the first video series of Mark’s (possibly even the first video) that I watched was his Slime Rancher series. I absolutely loved it, and him. His hair was still blue back then, and he was wearing his turtlenecks and his sweaters and such. He was funny, nice, and he had a great voice too. I’ve been watching ever since. And he’s from the bestest state ever, Ohio. Who needs LA when you have Cincinnati, amirite? He also has ideals and ideas that I share, and he’s not afraid to state them.
Side note - I met the glorious, beautiful, and awesome @ed0398 through Mark. We were sitting next to each other in 8th grade science class, bored out of our minds because while the teacher was awesome (bless u Mr. Lord), he had to go over things we already knew. Ellie and I got to talking, and somehow Mark came up, and boom new best friend. We’ve been besties ever since! Love ya, bud. :3
I found Jack either through Ellie or through Mark, I can’t remember which. If it was through Ellie, then she told me about the channel in science class and then I went and looked at it at home. If it was through Mark, I was probably watching a collab video of some sort and I was like “who’s this green-haired dude???????” and clicked on his channel and then boom jacksepticeye. Either way, I found Jack’s channel and loved it almost as quickly as I loved Mark’s channel. He’s loud, he’s funny, and an all-around great guy. He’s quick-witted and chipper, and he always brightens up my day.
Okay! Day one done! Six more to go! I just hope that this spreads at least a little positivity around!
See ya at day two!

Positivity Week
Day 1: What made you subscribe/ What do you like? The first I found was Mark and man I'm glad I did. Because of him I found Jack and then Pewds (Well I knew pewds for a while I just didn't watch it). The thing i like the most is their positivity and energy they give to their communities. And of course all the streamings they do for charity, they give so much love to their fans and the world. Thank you guys so much for being there for us, now it's our turn to return the favor :3
Positivity week
Yeah, why the hell not? I'm participating in this.
Day 1: What made you subscribe? What do you like about Mark/Jack/Felix?
Mark: Well, I remember first watching Mark around January 2014 though I didn’t sub to him until July that same year (wanted to make sure). He seemed really goofy and silly. Even though I was by no means an expert on games (and I’m still not), I liked how he broke down certain things about them. I also thought he was pretty funny, too. But I also loved that he was kind, genuine, and sincere with everything he did and seemed to care about his fans overall.
Jack: Mmmm, let’s see….I first saw Jack in a GMOD sandbox collab he did with Mark in April 2015. I didn’t really watch any of his videos and the only ones of him that I daw were ones where he collabed with Mark, Bob, Wade, and a few others. Then I think sometime in fall 2015, I started watching him more, though I don’t remember why. Needless to say, I loved his enthusiasm, his humor (‘cause he’s fuckin’ hilarious), his in-game sass, he’s VERY whimsical…but I also loved that he was altruistic and on the up-and-up. So, I subbed to him October 2015.
Pewds: Now Pewds is a bit of a different story. Tbh?…..I actually used to hate him. Truth be told at this point, if you asked me why I hated him, I wouldn’t be able to tell you because I don’t remember why I did. But I remember when I first saw him. It was around the time Slender man first came around (I wanna say that was 2012?) and I remember seeing a lot of shit drawn on deviantart with the monster INCLUDING…..a blonde guy with headphones on running from him. Someone had a link in one of the art descriptions and I watched this swedish guy scream to high heaven during the video. I didn’t know who he was at that point and continued on during the years. It was my friend, Sunny, and my own curiousity about things he’s done that made me stop hating him. While I’m not subbed to Pewds, I watch his videos from time to time. He’s VERY zany and bizarre. His humor IS kinda out there, but most of it is cool with me (sans the latest debacle). But I respect his honesty and how he owns up to his mistakes. In a way, I kinda view him as the Chaotic good of Youtube and he’s a pretty nice guy. The persona isn’t him and I feel a lot of people think it’s the same thing.
saw this going around so, Positivity Week #1
Day 1: What made you subscribe/what do you like about Mark/Jack/Felix? (imma do all three lmao) When i first went on youtube it was for tutorials that eventually lead to Minecraft videos. The game Undertale had recently went out, so i heard about it but wasnt really interested. After around 3 months after the release i decided to watch a play through. Leading to finding JackSepticEye’s channel. Haha, i never expected that green hair man to ever mean so much to me. So i started mainly watching him, i learned more and it was great. I also heard about Markiplier from time to time, not really often cus im in Italy but occasionally on the internet. Well, i thought he was a ‘bad’ person and not really cool. Butttt i proved myself extremely wrong when i actually started watching him. I found two of the coolest people i’ve ever known. The things that make Mark and Sean mean so much to me is mainly their personality, kind, caring, they really are one of a kind. Encouraged me to be a better person. Even when times rough.. jack, mark. We believe in you, you guys are awesome im sorry for all the crap you guys are getting. We love ya guys. With Felix it’s a bit weird, of course i know him but i dont really like him? like i know he’s not bad and stuff just he isnt the type of youtuber i watch anymore. Still, i heard from him by Jack and Mark, i saw a few videos, i know that he’s a good person underneath all those jokes and gossip. I believe that he can be a good person on camera to.
Positivity Week :)
This idea came from this lovely person and their post!
What it is that it’s similar to the Boss Week thing that happened a few weeks ago, just so we can spread positivity in this confusing and hateful time in the community.
There’s a SUPERSEPTIC version, a SUPERIPLIER version, and a Pewdssupport version. I’ll try to answer all three of them the best I can, but since I’m not a regular viewer of Felix’s content, there won’t be as much for him on here. That doesn’t mean that I don’t support him! I support him, and give him credit for what he does. His style of videos simply doesn’t click with me. Yet I still respect him, and will give him positivity through all of this.
There are seven days in this, and I’m almost too late to do day one, but not quite yet. I’ll do each day in a new post, so that way you don’t have to scroll for so long to either see the new edition to the week or just to skip the post entirely if that’s not something you want to see.
Positivity Week, here I come!
