Positivity Week Day 1
What do I like about these guys and why did I subscribe to them? Oh boy let’s see~
Jack’s a wonderful person to watch generally! He’s energetic, he’s optimistic, he’s thoughtful, he’s empathetic, and he cares very much about the community that he’s built up. He’s a great role model to look up to, and yet, out of the three, he’s also the youngest one (in years and career) to be doing this. You see, he’s the definition of hard work and great attitude can get you very far. He’s also the fastest growing one out of these three, and like Felix always say about him, he’s one of the kindest person on YouTube, as well! He’s a humble person, and he made sure to never forget the journey that took him this far, the journey that we all took with him. I love that he takes the time to always connect with us, and the fact that he always take the time to talk to us and answer question results in a firm grip on his community, the community that’s well-known for its incredible kindness that reflects Jack as a person himself. It’s also through this connection that we’re constantly reminded that Jack is a person just like us, and thus, we need to treat him like a human: with respect. Overall, he definitely deserves the 14 million subscribers right now, and I will continue to support whatever endeavors he chooses to face (like now. I’m rooting for ya, Jack!)
Next up, Mark! Oh gosh, truth be told, whatever I’ve managed to put down on here will not suffice the whole experience I had with him during JUST these past two months that I’ve been in these YouTuber fandoms. Simply put, Mark’s a complicated person and an enigma for me to understand. He’s also the source of all of my exasperation, even more so than Felix ever will be. But, despite all of that, if you ask if I will continue to stick by him for these months and years to come, I will give a firm yes. He’s managed to won me over, and truth be told, there were times where my views of Mark were less than stellar compared to right now. It was one hell of a rollercoaster on my ride with Mark, but I do not regret any moment of it. This man is an amazing human being, and to be honest, while he also has his flaws like the rest of us human beings (as he has come to admit often), his better qualities are something to admire greatly. I’m just so proud of him for all of the charities that he does for the betterment of the world, especially this last one where he managed to rally the viewers to raise $50,000 PLUS in just an HOUR; It’s no wonder he’s also known as one of the most generous YouTubers! I could say more, but right now, just know, it’s been only two months, and yet, it feels like I’ve been watching him for much longer than that. I’ve learn so much about Mark, and I’ve cried with him when he allowed his emotions to leak through for a video.
Finally, Felix. Believe it or not, I’ve also fell in love with some of Felix’s quality as a YouTuber and as a person. As a YouTuber, he does well for the position that he holds! He’s raised charities, and he also put together some events and specials for our entertainment. As the most subscribed YouTuber right now, I say he did his job well, and I’ll be honest. Better him having the seat of most influence (as the most subscribed YouTuber) than some other YouTubers. And that’s not to say he doesn’t have any admirable qualities, because he DOES. Felix, I say as a person, is very genuine when it comes to the times that it mattered. I know Felix knows that YouTubers (especially him) are gaining even more influence everyday (if the drama right now doesn’t diminish that...), and with this overblown drama, I’m sure he also realized with Mark that he has a duty of sorts. I’ll elaborate more on this on Day 6, but know, that I think he fully understands just how severe his job is. What he says and does matters, and with millions of people having their eyes on him daily, he needs to constantly be more self-conscious of his actions. Beyond this, he, too, is an amazing person. Again, he’s done charities, and he’s overall a very well-managed person in spite of the many duties that he’s acquired over the years as founder of Revelmode and such... Even so, we’re called to remember that he, too, is human just like all of us. Time and time again, the vlogs and talks that he does with us reminds us that he’s vulnerable to questions and concerns in life, too. In fact, they highlight the fact that his position as the Queen Elizabeth of YouTube is not a comfortable seat. Being a YouTuber for a living, in fact, is not a chill job for anyone AT ALL. But hey, it’s through these hardships that he reminds us of his genuineness and honesty as a person. He’s not afraid AT ALL to call out BS when he sees fit (the media) and I’m sure he’s not afraid to point something out for a person. He’s genuine as a creator, and that’s something to admire.
This post got way too out of hand I’m sorry lol, but if you’re wondering where’s the part that I mention why I subscribed to them, this is it. I don’t mainly see these guys as creators, but in fact, more like people behind screens. I see past the content that they put through, and I watch out for their character and personality. I can see that they’re all generally good people, and that’s why I subscribed to them.
