Friendly reminder that people can and will ship who they want to ship, regardless of canon. this message was brought on by someone saying that if you ship SpiderMoth (Angel Dust x Vaggie) then you are homophobic. this is very similar to a few years back when the Pewey tag (Pearl x Mayor Dewey) was flood with “Pearl is a lesbian“ posts.

Most of these people have hung around fandom long enough to know the previously mentioned fact about shipping, and have used said fact to ship their own preferred characters even if they didn’t follow canon. regardless of canon relationship status, regardless of canon sexuality, regardless of if those characters have ever interacted, those ships were still valid.
