Bright and early in the morning the phone rings, Calvin was on his way out the door for work but answered it anyway. It was their neighbor, the town Casanova, asking to speak to his wife.  

Calvin was trying his best not to make a big deal out of it but he just couldn’t help himself. 

“Antoinette Conrad!” Calvin yelled up the stairs. A fight happened which not only made Calvin late for work but one that Chris got to hear. 

The fight was a long one that caused Antoinette to cry a lot throughout the coming days. Her husband had accused her of cheating, which she was, but it was still hurtful. Lawrence wondered what was wrong with his parents and finally decided to ask, 

“Mom what has been going on with you lately?” Between sobs Antoinette told him just adult stuff. Lawrence left it alone afterwards. 

To make herself feel better Antoinette invites over her lover Chris. He leaves long before her husband or kids come home but she felt more like herself.
