Monk/spirit invoker minoraur concept. Thinking of callin her Kidawhin
Born and raised as one of the Alijae elves who made their home in the northern reaches of the Mwangi Jungle, Maiyarah spent the first few decades of her life learning local history and exploring the nearby Nagisa ruins with others in her tribe.
After discovering a love for learning, she enrolled in the prestigious Magaambya University. She only attended for three years, but in that time, her study of historical figures had led her to discover the ways of the legendary Magic Warriors. Following in their footsteps, she pledged to give up her name and identity in order to better serve any who needed help. From this point on, she would be known only as Izem.
An emissary for her tribe, Izem splits her time between her home in the treetops and her home in the nearby city of Kibwe. She helps organise any necessary trade or communication between the two locations, as well as providing protection for any (elf or otherwise) who need it.
When she was made aware of a curse afflicting people in Kibwe, transforming them into mindless oozes, she refused to stand by when everyone could be at risk. She joined forces with an unusual group of adventurers, determined to do what she could to keep the city and all within it safe.
This absolutely incredible art is by the wonderful @molliartsie
Just finished a catfolk monk/summoner build.
The theme of the build is: a catfolk who is in a permanent state of sleepyhead that uses stumbling and twisting petal stances to move around like the wind. And also is astral projecting themselves while they sleep (psychopomp eidolon) to beat you up
Another instance where i praise the addition of awakened animal
I have made a winged animal monk based on a beared vulture. The main purpose of this build is to fly, be evasive, and grab enemies to drop them from high places.
I keep thinking about an owls of gahoole/warrior pathfinder game, or something similar to it where everyone plays as animals in a setting that has animals as the dominant species on the planet and the cool technologies they create with woodland charm.
Made a build today that I'm particularly proud of.
Ghoran Twisting Tree Magus + Monk
My take on the "wise old tree trope" that will hopefully subvert expectations.
Main skills include deception, acrobatics, and athletics. The goal of this character is to be a relentless pursuer that uses the sporadic growth of their body to limit the movement of enemies while also maximizing movement fot themselves with the use of feats such as:
• Flexible form, allowing them to squeeze effectively despite their medium size.
• Dancing Leaf, making leaps and jumps longer/higher and easier to perform
• Quick Root, to prevent enemy attempts at repositioning or forced movement.
and
• Twisting Petal Stance, to fake out enemies and then take advantage with shoves to get them into position for the allies
All the feats/skills i picked were intentionally themed after plants/flowers. I imagine that this tree person is very polite and calm outside of combat, but fights like a hungry dog once provoked.
