Okay you know the pun (idk if it’s even in canon or if people have just drawn/written Sans saying it so much it has become fanon and it’s ingrained in my mind) where Sans says, “Why did the skeleton not go to the party? … Because he has nobody to go with.”
Well. Papyrus’s superior response could be, “Why was the skeleton confidently able to find somebody to go with him? … Because he has no nerves!”
Surreal feeling because I have not heard/seen of Sans using this pun in the fandom, but my lack of awareness is obvious cuz I only view Papyrus content if I can help it.
Sans has never used that pun/joke! He only tells around 4 puns in the game, so it's fanon. His pun to chat ratio is kinda low tbh, but he does make jokes/tease to show he's a haha funny man that definitely doesn't want to murder you all the time ok?
That is a great joke/pun for Papyrus though, pff. I get the feeling he might resort to asking a question to tell a pun if someone directly accused him of hating puns, then move on to slip heaps of puns into chat for the next hour.
