This week, the 116th US Open returns to Oakmont, arguably the most difficult golf course in this Major Tournament’s illustrative history. Last played here in 2007 when Ángel (El Pato) Cabrera (5pt) beat Tiger Woods (Not playing) and Jim Furyk (10pt) by 1 stroke (5-over par, 285), this year’s par 70 / 7,230 yard course will truly test every golfer in the field.

1nDunGolf has ranked this year’s field of World’s best golfers, and while the top tiers are comprised of household names like Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, and Rory McIlroy – if you look at some of the lower tiers, you’ll find some value. As mentioned above, former champions Cabrera and Furyk are ranked near or at the bottom – along with: Geoff Ogilvy, 2006 Champion (5pts)
