I participated in a Phaidei Secret Santa, here's what I did with my giftee's prompt!
"So this is my most devoted believer? How cute."
In other words, huge god Mydei meeting his no.1 believer for the first time after hearing his prayers every night 🥰 (it's the best day of Phainon's life)
Bark, bite, growl, I need you to rant about your Phaidei AU
OF Course! I shall!
As a preface. The AU is loosely based in inuit mythology/folklore. I'm originally from Alaska and very recently I was able to visit my home away from home to re experience the culture there as it is different from the mainland. The art there is incredible and also uniquely functional. Mydeis obsidian duel blades featured in his character art are actually based off a real one I bought from a gold panner, crafted with the base of an elks antler and pure obsidian. It's extremely sharp where the edges have been chipped away. Mydei's shoulder pads are halves of whale vertebrae. Bones, tusks and antlers not only make great handles but whale bones in particular are so large they're a great base for sculpture, kind of like wood carving. Mydeis beads are all lapis, a common find in tiny tiny pieces along with amethyst, jade, silver, gold, a variety of quarts, jasper and garnet. I was able to find all of these in just a small cup of dirt! ANYWAYSSS
As for character line up
Mydei, the revenant mortal man
The kremnoan tribe including the detachment, eurypon, gorgo, krateros and perhaps other characters
Phainon (the god of light and truth; the sun)
Nanook (the God of bears and destruction)
Hysilens (the godess of sea and guidance)
Cerydra (the godess of order and season)
Cyrene (a moon godess amongst others)
I won't give the whole story away, but what I will say is phainon becomes bound to the flesh as punishment, and his feelings as well aa his actions following said feelings for a certain mortal man get him into a bit of trouble.

Cat Mydei x Dog Phainon #1
☀️ "Mydei, no."
Mydei was slowly pushing one of Phainon's favourite mugs off the table with little pushes, never breaking the eye contact from Phainon while thumping his tail on the counter.
🍷 "I told you it was my turn on the console."
Phainon's ears dropped, his tail was lying on the couch flat, stating his clear anxiety.
☀️ "No you didnt!? I thought you were going to bake us something-"
🍷 "And then i changed my mind, so what? It. was. my. turn."
He lifts himself from the couch and quickly make his way to Mydei to grab his precious mug. Mydei tried to take it back, only for to make space for Phainon to grab him. He hold Mydei from his waist and lift him slightly, causing Mydei's nails to dig in a little on Phainons arms
☀️ "Ouch! You havent been cutting those are you? Do you love hurting me that much?"
Phainon tilted his head to the side, his tail swishing furiously behind him. He fixed his intense gaze on Mydei’s face.
🍷 "Put me down." Mydei hissed.
☀️ "Then stop messing around in the house! Im the one cleaning it after all..."
🍷 "Then stop pissing me off."
☀️ "But i didnt do anything!" Phainon whines.
Phainon made his way to the couch and made Mydei sit on his side. He then handed him the console.
☀️ "You can play, if you promise me in something."
Mydei was curious about Phainon, knowing that this man had something in mind.
🍷 "For what exactly?"
☀️ “You’ll bathe with me afterward!”
Phainon places his hands on Mydei’s thighs, his fluffy white tail swishing furiously with excitement. He gazes at Mydei, eagerly awaiting his approval.
🍷 "Hmph... deal."
And the fic itself wouldn't see the light cuz the author has bad multitasking capabilities LMAO
Amphoreus AU where Aedes Elysae never was destroyed, Phainon went to Castrum Kremnos but was after Eurypon throws away Mydei so Phainon trained under Eurypon's wing, becoming the most lethal and trustful warrior of the King...
When the rumours of the son of Eurypon begin to circulate around Castrum Kremnos, Phainon swearing to his King that he won't allow his demonic son to even touch him.

Mydei loves how Phainon smells. When he needs a quick nap or if its one of the nights that he has to sleep alone, he always steals some of Phai's shirts and sleep with them.
And if its night time, when Phainon is back from work at night, he sees his boyfriend like that with his clothes all over him, he sighs slightly and quickly pick up his clothes back carefully - to not wake Mydei up - and lay down next to him, hugging and inhaling his boyfriends sweet scent.
In the morning, Mydei is the one that often gets up early so, when Phainon wakes up too, they never talk about that because Phainon knows how embarrassed Mydei get with those kind of things.
