When phainon falls in love, he loves hard

That man will do all it takes to not make it too obvious that he's crushing you, but he isn't really good...even you could tell.

"There's no way I could be in love, I'm the prophesied hero of Okhema! I don't have time for romance" He says, but when he spots you walking around the markets phainon runs away, sometimes bumping into people or food carts, making everyone see him as a clumsy young man.

He'll try to deny everything, but the way he always rushes to you when you return from a solo mission, the way he dotes on you, it's honestly impossible to deny.

"Are you injured? Tired? Hungry?", acting like a worried lover he'll give you anything you want. "I made you stew, what? You're not in the mood for stew? Okay I'll make you something else"

You sometimes have to physically stop Phainon from making you a whole feast, you surely can't eat everything he made, but it's the thought that counts.

He loves doing small acts for you, making sure your feet aren't tired, always making sure you laugh whenever the situation of the chrysos heirs gets too overwhelming, making sure to buy snacks or desserts for two people instead of one.

To think he was the hero of the prophecy, falling in love with someone from the sky. He knew it would never work, he and the trailblazer would never be together. And yet he still dreamed, wished on the never ending sky for a chance.

Unfortunately for him, he knew, you were in love with another. The way he watched you, holding hands with Mydei, a man who's both wise with experience or war and often keeps to himself. But Phainon knew Mydei, he knew Mydei was someone who will take care of you, maybe even more than a farm boy from a far away land, of course you should be with the crowned prince, he told himself.

Phainon trusts Mydei, more than anyone in Okhema. Even if it physically hurts when he watches Mydei being a doting lover to you, he knows your safe and happy.

And to Phainon, that's enough
