Dan’s POV:
The rain is poring hard, the sky black as my soul, I sigh. I place my hand on the cold window and look at my reflection, I feel repulsive with my crown. “This isn’t what I wanted.” I grumbled under my breath, a sudden knock startled me, my farther walked into my room with a warm smile on his face, mixed with a tint of a joyful red. “Farther?” I asked, glossing my eyes to look interested instead of pissed.
Narrator:
“Daniel, your mother and I have arranged your marriage for Thursday, I want you to come down and meet her.” he said with a soft chuckle and winked at me, “She’s a pretty broad too.” he said and left.
“How could you just force me to marry? I’m only seventeen!” he yelled, taking his crown and throwing it at the wall, hitting a mirror that was already broken from the last tantrum. Dan fall to his knees and hunch his back, starring at the wooden floor, boiling with anger, “I’m too young.” Dan said, calming down.
Dan soon stands up and picks his crown back up and put it back on his head, and slightly to the side to look more child-like. “Now if I look like this, I could get out of this stupid bullshit.” He said and walked out of his room to the stairs to the first floor. Dan sighs and pretends to gag when he say the girl, ‘she looks thirteen how can I marry a baby?’ he ask myself in his head, looking at mother and farther he gave them a disapproval look. Dan’s mother sighs and closes her eyes, “I’m sorry Mrs. and Mr. Hart but we do not think our son is ready to marry. He hasn't aged enough.
Mr. and Mrs. Hart agreed and left with their young daughter.
Dan’s POV:
“Daniel James Howell how dare you-!” my farther was cut off my mother putting her hand on his arm, “Christen please.” she said in a calm tone. “He isn’t ready to marry yet, give him time.” she continued. My father nodded, “Very well.” he said. I tried to cut in, “Give me another year to-” I was cut off by my mother again, “Dan baby go to your room for the rest of the night.” she said and looked away from me.
I said nothing, only turned and walked, with the biggest smile on my face.
