What I love about those "don't assume Dan is bi/pan/gay!!!!" posts is that no one bothers to mention that we shouldn't assume he's straight either
Oh I just saw your long post and you totally addressed that! I agree, I think there’s definitely a little biphobia going on here.
more than a little, i’d say ;p
and lol yeah i usually avoid rants but this just feels a little more personal to me, because i’m really, genuinely hurt when i see people i follow reblogging those posts acting like saying “dan might be bi” is an insult.
phanbears replied to your post: “okay so i dunno whats going on with the themes here but mY PUPPY COMES...”:
I'm glad to hear some good news amongst this whole mess!
i am GLAD to be the provider of good in these troubled times

I know you said you wouldn't answer anymore asks but I think I get what you're saying. The make up industry is very gendered and it's built on making people (women) feel bad about themselves. Make up itself is fine, it's just like wearing nice clothes or jewelry and many of us who wear it only do so for fun. But the industry holds women to a standard of beauty that makes woman think they absolutely don't look good without it and that's overall very harmful.
Yeah lmao, but people on tumblr get offended really easy so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Most of the people who have seen the video saw it because people shared links! I can't say that for a fact obviously but most of the people I know who have seen it don't have vessel. I saw it without having a vessel account personally so it's not really separating us all that much at all? I don't know if that helps your anons at all and I know the discussion is more about vessel and how it's :/ which I totally agree with but I just thought I'd share!
Oh hi, I was just reblogging your post about Dan, which I thought was really good omg fangirl moment cause we were talking at the same time lol
I imagine that will happen a lot, it doesn’t change the intent of vessel, which I think is always important to discuss! But I’m glad people are cheating the system at least! Quite frankly, this time I didn’t even go looking for a link or anything, I’ll wait for the video cause I’m not that interested lol
But yeah for anyone who is upset, maybe you can find a link floating around that isn’t to Vessel, maybe? good luck out there <3
Would also like to point out that people only favoring Phil to show support because he supposedly doesn't get as much love is a little insulting? He's not a charity case. Just show your support for them whether that be within the same post or on individual posts because you love and support them. They both deserve it because they're both human beings who are worthy of love!
literally! like exhibit your love for somebody because its genuine, not to get notes or to make yourself feel good about supporting somebody who is supposedly more "hated". like nah thats just as bad! and yes 100%
I totally agree with you on not being self depreciating! Even with little things like the other day I saw this post that said "my only hobby is sleeping" and I went to reblog it but I stopped myself because my hobby is not sleeping. My hobbies are writing and editing. I actually do things and I need to give myself credit. It may seem silly but it was nice acknowledging that :)
Y E S!!! even the little things like this. start small, and it will build up!
