I think it’s interesting to note that out of every supplicant, the Trailblazers had their mask made for them, instead of them ‘making’ their mask.
It’s mentioned that when a supplicant puts on a mask it takes a form that represents them and their innermost desires, this is what I mean by ‘making’ it. It forms around them, around who they are. But Stelle and Caelus’ mask was made by Evanescia. Not just in form, but in design as well. It’s a raccoon because that’s what others perceive them to be.
But it’s also important to note that throughout the story, everyone who has recognized them from their raccoon counterpart in Fluffy Across the Blue has said something along the lines of “You don’t really look like a raccoon.” That’s gotta be important. More specifically, it’s gotta be important how the Trailblazers don’t look like a raccoon, but are drawn as one anyway.
This makes me believe had they gotten their hands on the mask from Miss Dolly, had they put that one on, it would not be a raccoon. It would look like something else.
