Day 16: Share your favorite Gaolers

Amane is the Collectors’ vault guard. Ze’s a G1 I was fortunate enough to win in a small raffle a while ago! Ze tends to get annoyed with me when I need to withdraw funds from the vault. 

Torgin is one of the many strange spirits of the forest. Their eyes and markings in their fur start to swirl the longer you look, drawing you in, drawing you deeper into the forest...

Phantom/Spirit gene rarity?

I’ve been mashing Coli since yesterday and I’m yet to see either gene drop once. Is there a specific venue I need to grind? D:

Well that was better, only been grinding for a little over an hour today (after sleeping in and then doing non-FR stuff for a while) and had a second copy of spirit drop. So that’s Tuffet’s first dropped gene, and I’m down to just needing two copies of phantom to finish off both him and Daget. And any extra copies of spirit or weathered that drop now can go towards my “I like to keep 2 of every brewed or dropped gene on hand against future use” habit. (Except capsule. I don’t like capsule. At all.)

In more annoying news, I was trying out Daget and Dager in Progeny Scrying, and it looks like the gaoler dropped genes may be at a rather lesser probability than the shaggy-streak-underbelly I have her in (and, annoyingly, that Tuffet’s mate Moppet is also in for primary-secondary). So I may end up regening at least one of Dager or Moppet. Possibly both. Mostly leaning towards making Moppet gem-gened in primary-secondary because I’m way more attached to the phantom-spirit look Tuffet has, and at least changing Dager’s underbelly tertiary to something that weathered shows up more against. Maybe scorpion, since I have one brewed, if it tests well in scrying anyway.

Speaking of brewed genes... someone at FR was clearly not thinking when they put together the recipes for the gaoler genes.  Pinstripe and trail both call for an imbued sulphur which, fair, the normal pinstripe and trail do as well. Then trail needs two purple ooze... still fine... and pinstripe wants... two... purple... sludge. A rare melt that we already need 4 of to produce the two fine alchemical reductions used to make the imbued sulphur. Why is this not purple goo instead. I have most of a stack of purple goo. I would be HAPPY to use up some purple goo. Not more friggin’ purple sludges! *Cries and throws a non-stop string of ‘Other’ items into Baldwin’s Cauldron*
